Reflectivity test (as photons are expensive).

I enjoyed the video and learned a bit, I watched it but I liked the sub title saying go to 5.2? for results, nice touch.
Very professional
Thanks for the feedback ;-)
We've learned that some want the answers as quickly as possible while others want to understand the full process and every detail. Hopefully, this format provides the best of two worlds.

Have a great weekend!

Too bad you didn't test 3M Light Enhancement Film 3635-100, which is designed for this purpose. Still waiting for some vendor to pick it up and sell me a few yards so I can line my grow cab without buying an entire roll.

Didn't know this existed but would love to test it. Although it seems almost impossible for the average Joe to acquire. Please drop a message here again if you're ever able to get your hands on some :-)

I'd like to see how orca film/paper stacks up against the best, it's pretty expensive stuff I'd be interested to know if the price is warrantied?
I'm going back a few years but orca was around 2x the price of the heavy duty groweasy lightite mylar.
Claims of 94% reflective?

A tip... instead of 30/40 bucks for seam tape buy a roll of regular double sided tape and stick your own mylar/orca to one side ;-)

cool! thanks a lot! I though it might be the same thing but it comes in a 54" wide roll while the 3M product is 48" wide. Apparently its been available for a while, I wonder why I didn't find it when I found the 3M stuff?

The smallest amount of Orca Grow Film I could find is 25 feet which is almost 115 sq.ft. for around $80 with shipping and I only need like 20 sq.ft. at the most to cover my cabinet. It probably doesn't have a long service or shelf life so it's probably not worth the expense for a small headstash grower like myself.

It’s said to be tough as, buy it once type thing, I've seen but never handled it so idk 1st hand.
I asked about it last week, years ago when I read the sales pitch it sounded appealing but at £12 a mtr iirc groweasy heavy duty mylar was a more appealing option at £5 a metre, I don't think the price of orca does its popularly much good?

I've been meaning to replace a free standing reflector I lost a while back.
I was always going to get around to it but never have.

After watching the video I decided I should put something together.
All they photons streaming out lol...

I saw some Orca Grow Film. The Orca is nice.

The film is thick like a quality wallpaper. The material comes in a generous 54" width so it can be wrapped on 4'-0" wide sheets.

The room I was in had one 1000W LED and the wall across from the light was lit very evenly. The film seemed like it would be completely washable. Just use a soft brush and soapy water type of thing.

I was told a 54" x 150' roll was $250 + shipping.
