Reflector Choice

Hi all, this is my first post. I am planning a smallish grow (8-10 medium sized plants) which i'm hopefully going to be growing in a tent (L=165cm W=65cm H=160cm) which will in turn be placed in a shed in the yard. The plan is to use 2 x 250w Envirolite's but i'm not too sure about the right style of reflectors to buy. Would i be best with open or should i go with the closed types?



On a side note, I did see some 300w (8U or 9U) bulbs for sale online, but i also read that these unbranded lights are generally inferior to envirolites or plug and grow's ...in that they are often smaller and not as bright. If anybody has any advice on this particular score i would be very interested idd. Anyways, thanks for reading o/

i would go with a closed hood, possible aircooled. but with the lights you are going to use you could go with an open or closed with no problems, but i would recommend closed.

u think i'd be ok with 2 closed reflectors at 1/3 intervals along the length. would i still get good enough coverage?
don't think i would need to air cool them as i don't think they get too hot, do they?
