i just had to ask been drivin me crazy i wanted to kno if a seed i got from a dime of reg. turn into a dank like bud strain......or if any one kno the name of the common known reg seed strain.....plz share ur insight ...thank you:wall:

im sure it is i just figure since u can ask any thing on this site id start this thread for pplz who cant buy seeds online cuz they live in US and only deal with dime bag seeds ect.

Honestly, I wouldnt go as far as to say "needle in a haystack" aloooooota good bud has been grown from bag. U gotta keep in mind, these are fairly tough plants, unless the seeds r cracked or smooshed beyond shit which is the case alot....then more then likely they will grow. Now its up to you to take care of em in a way to get some nice bud. I have found that since those seeds have already been through a shit load in their lil lives, its better to just stick the darn seeds straight in whatever medium ur using. May take a lil longer to sprout but theres lil to no stress on those poor lil thangs. That in turn is a lovely foundation to have with a newly sprouted young one! I say plant what ya get them hands on man!!!!!!

Hey Skunk, if I interpret your post correctly, you want to know if a seed from a dime bag has undergone some miracle
genetic conversion into primo dank? The answer is no. Most probably it was from a sloppy commercial grow that started with good genetics but allowed males to flourish & pollinate. 'Viola' goodbye sinsemila and hello seeds! Now you have pretty low grade smokage because the seed production blew off all the good stuff, (THC, CBD, etc.) But, the good part is:
A female seed from the dime bag will give you great smoke if properly tended and NOT allowed to be pollinated.

DUDE! you can't buy seeds online???? I'm CA, USA, & I've lost track of all the bloody seeds i'm buying online, from 4 different banks. Canada, Great Briton, & Holland. It's not rocket science, you go to the site, pick out your seeds, lay down your $, & in 5/7 days the seeds are at your door. C'monnnn......BB

OK, I'm guessing you're in New Jersey. Possibly N.J. law enforcement has nothing better to do than chase down nickle/dime bag folks, I really wouldn't know. Stop and think about when was the last time you heard about a "major roundup" of small time closet/cabinet growers in your area? It's wide open in CA, they just don't have the resource's or inclination to fuck with the small timers. There are several excellent seed banks out there, I would recommend the "Attitude". They have the best strains, great pricing, incredible "freebies", & very fast, stealthy delivery. Screw fear! just plunk down a few $ and get yourself a good KNOWN strain. i have grown some dank from schwag seeds.
its allllll about the tlc.
commercial growers might not have the best buds BUT
to keep the dealers selling there product they have to use good genetics, they just get sloppy on the grow.
we hobbyists grow small batches with lots of tlc and time invested in the grow...
commercial growers care more about volume over quality, in other words its simple to get dank buds growing in a room or small outdoor setup but not so easy when your going commercial and tending acre sized tracts of plants... so you lose quality to get the cheap shit.
i honestly dont beleive there are many 'shitty strains' out there at all, some are more potent than others, some yield better, and some autoflower; but then again if you were a grower would you say 'lets get rid off the good seeds and just grow the nasty stuff...' ? no, cause nobody would buy it! they just dont give a damn about the final product because there all about volume

it seems everyone has there own opinion on bag seeds , but from as far as i can tell they are just fine to grow. yeah the weed you bought probably didn't look like the best thing ever but i could grow some dank and make it look like shit to and it wouldn't change the genetics. also yeah they aren't selectively bread but if you think about it theres probably so many strains in one odds are your going to get something unique. honestly thats why i grow bag seed ( i also grow good genetics seeds) but its the surprise of what your going to get , could be complete crap , or could be some stuff that blows your mind.

Gotta agree with you 100% on that!! The commercial guys can't spend the time and love on their plants that you need to produce top-shelf stuff.

BTW: That fucking "bug" at the bottom of your post is too cool!! I sat here with a bong in one hand trying to get that little fucker off of my screen for a good full minute before I realized it wasn't actually there. Excellent mind-fuck dude!!!!!!
