Reg seeds or fem seeds for pheno hunt?

Yeah this is how it suppose to be or how it used to be… but I do not see those fire out of fire seeds anywhere

I'm going with fems unless the seeds are only regs or I want to do some chucks. I know how to mix some silver spray up as well.

I have no problems with most of new stuff being fems especially when most are just chucks. I rather it be a fem chuck not an untested male, I can do that on my own lol. IMO If you have been collecting for awhile you should have enough throwback packs that are regs.

This has got me thinking though about how to handle my next pollen chuck, to use male or female? I failed to reverse a cut in my last attempt but wouldn't mind trying a different plant.

For the amount of females you are to get I find fems worth the price. $150 for a 10 pack is my limit but usually get them lower than than & not even from GLO. He has lower price but I chose not to deal with him at the moment lol

See, I’d like to go fem. But I can see the appeal of how much cheaper reg seeds are, even if 50% are male, some of these Fem seeds are like 15-20 bucks or more. Males are so much cheaper, even with the 50% chance of male, I’d still (statistically) ended up with more female plants cuz of pricing. Should I just spend the extra money on fems, or go regs, deal with males, put in more work, and end up with more females for the same price or even cheaper..... hmmm. Something to ponder, that’s fasho.

Also, thank you all for the likes. Just got “well known member” status. Love y’all. You guys are like my weed growing sensei, or my Yoda or some shit. About to start building a real setup. Veg tent big enough to veg mothers and clones, and veg my plants for a SOG, then a 4x8 I’ll fill half at a time so it’s semi perpetual. Harvest 30 days or so apart. Maybe you guys can help me with that when I get started building.

I see HSO is $100 for 20 seeds which is a good deal but the norm for a reg 10-12 seed pack is usually a hundo now a days. I'd say go with the fems unless you want to chuck with the males. Or if you have enough space for 20 regs & time to sex them go for it! I wish I had an empty tent & could pop 20 regs & keep males but my veg tent is packed with random fems & regs.

I’ve got a whole bedroom to work with. Maybe 15 ft by 15 feet? No plans for breeding at the moment btw.
