Hey Everybody, I screwed up and didn't get clones off of one really good plant before she started flowering :-( Does anyone have experience with regeneration? I dont really care about a second harvest, just wanna get her back to veg so I can take some clones. Thanks for your help

I have a girl in flower that has been re-gened. Will get a photo for you if needed when lights come on shortly. Key is to leave enough vegetation/bud if needed. Once it is thrown back in to veg it will take a while to switch back over and start growing. Most likely it will produce some real fugly curly leaves and strange growth......give it time it pulls out of it.

Here is a pic of the base of the plant. In the center of the mound of stem you can actually see a piece of bud that is still exposed....that whole gnarly stem was a cluster of popcorn that I left on. You can see a few of the mutant leaves as well. From the top of the plant you would never know that it has been re-vegged at this point. It was harvested in Nov. and took about 2 - 3 months or so before it was ready to chop for clones or re-flower. She could use a trimming down low but I have left it be as I wanted to see if eventually the mutant leaves would be replaced.
I didn't need to re-veg her, I just tried it in case I am ever in that situation where it could be beneficial.
Hope this helps.

if he were to take a clone of the flowering plant, what would happen to the 'bud sight' or ya know the pistols, would they die or just go away?

i saw a thread on here today about a guy that took some cuttings 6 weeks into flowering, rooted in 10 days i believe, no rooting hormone either, just water

You can take a clone off of the plant you wish to keep. Yo must realize that it is going to grow funky for awhile since it is in flower but you can do it and get it back to veg, you might take a few clones because some won't make the trip. Otherwise you should be fine and also note that it will take awhile for it to go back to a normal state again.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I ended up taking some cuttings from lower branches that hadnt showed any flowering yet. Well see how they do. Gonna try to regen her after harvest as well.
