Hi everyone!
First time grower and I'm barely a week into it and feeling the frustration. Hopefully pictures will be unnecessary as the seedlings were barely (At MOST 1/2'') out of the ground and most likely not rooted, although I'm not sure. I recently germinated 3 seeds (Feminized White Widow from CropKingSeeds). I initially did 24 hours in a cup of water, and as soon as they cracked stuck em in paper towel for another 24 hours. All 3 had taproots at least 3mm before I stuck em in seedling planters. 2 days in, all 3 were poking out of the soil (Natures Care Organic Potting Mix), and one even managed to grow enough shake the shell off. I came home yesterday and noticed that the other two which were barely poking out looked like they were starting to go back down! And today when I got home from work, all 3 had looked like they wanted to crawl back in the dirt!
Grow Space: Although I will probably catch hell for it, I used the big wardrobe box that u-haul sells... It's a 2x2 space...And of course wanting to get going asap I just painted the inside of the box flat white, hoping it would be enough to at least get going. I had intake and exhaust fans going, and also a temperature/humidity gauge (I couldn't for the life of me keep the RH over 50%, I've READ that it needs to be much higher. I've also read that some people don't like it to go OVER 50), so I'm at a loss.
Lights: 8 - 24w CFLs (Seedlings placed around 3 or 4 inches from them)
Watering schedule: Whenever the topsoil was completely dry
Any other questions I'll try and respond asap...Ain't got shit to do now but go and start up another batch :-/
