I am starting a grow in an improvised tent 1mx1m with two one month old autoflowers. I have 1 200w full spectrum cob led, but I think that when the plants start flowering that light will not be enough. I live in Brazil and here grow lights are very expensive. I can't buy another one right now. But I can get 100w LED spotlights or 40w LED bulbs at a good price. Would it be a good complement or is it not effective? Thank you.
If worst comes to worst then yes you can use them, but you will need a load of them.
Have a look at the kelvin of the bulbs, if possible try to get a mix of 6500k and 2700k bulbs, if not just use the 2700k ones.
When buying bulbs make sure to look at the actual wattage rather than the equivilant watts.
For example a 40w equivilant bulb is often only 8w and the 100w are often 25w.
You can do it this way but you are going to need a lot of bulbs, a lot of bulb holders and extention leads, by the time you have done this it would most likely be cheaper to buy another led light which would have full spectrum.
