Regular seeds or feminized which produce the best plants?

i thought the whole point of fem to begin with was being able to get a plant that was only available in clone form.

I guess it is.

Unfortunately in most cases selfing a plant does not produce a copy of the mom, since its a step in inbreeding and most plants are not homozygous.

If I had to guess it sounds like the op's statement came from the rare dankness site. They use that wording saying it weakens the strain.

Granted, I got a C- in genetics in college but I don't buy it. Why, because when they create fem seeds they use colloidal silver treatment which is an isolated event, seperate from the other male and female plants of the strain.

They're not selecting anything, they're creating. Fem seeds are created but the males and females that are left over are not effected.

My understanding of why we have feminized seed is so you can grow female only plants. For small time growers who don't have to use space, nutrients and time on growing male plants then cull them.flupped

called it.
oh man, you must be amazing at seeing the future lol, and self back patting as well

who would have guessed, that a subjective topic like what is better capitalized A or lower case a, would break out into, argument

all in all a great day for predictions

if i had to make a educated guess id talk to mendal law expert(or fuckigng read a book) or some geneticist on how missing alleles from the no males alleles in fem seeds effects genetic drift and variation, as well as possible expression of traits lost in missing alleles

its science more than opinion
