I got a truck with the tires wearing a little uneven...steering is slightly off...

Would it be the ball joints or the tie rods that are giving me problems ?

Also, what is the recommended fuel for a 6.0l 2003 GMC 2500hd ?
Alls I know is, that my 2003 6.0 crew cab silverado has 245,000 miles on it! Like a fuckin rock baby :D
Take that shit in for an alignment! Quit being a cheap ass! is my advice:-)

One could get most of it done with standard lengths I suspect. Then a trip to a local pipefitter, plumbing supply house or even some nicer hardware stores could get your pipe threading issues worked out.

Some commercial electricians could be of assistance if they do a shit ton of RMC and thus have taper tap.
Very true, but I think the PVC design is just copied by people that dont really know better or dont have a construction background. Thats why I hardly every see a tent made with sturdy material. I know myself that the local plumbing shop will thread whatever, and then you need a wrench.. I kinda understand why some people do it a certian way..

Zip-ties, IMO. You'll bend that thin metal before a fat zip-tie will pop.

You could use one long one, wrap and cross it, or you could use 2, with 1 around each bar, like chain links. Could even stuff a piece of foam between the contact point, to minimize the chance of either tie cutting the other. If you're worried it'll slide off the end of the cross bar, you could wrap the end w/ a few layers of duct tape (or gorilla, if you have it), then use a 3rd tie on the tape, just to create a lip that the other loop can't slide past. (and whatever you do, do it to both sides of the cross bar)

Place a wide, thick cable tie around each plastic/steel junction, this way they cannot fail - those cables ties take alot to break!
