Rejuvenated plant as mother?

Thought about this... can a marijuana plant that has been thru flowering once be used as a mother plant to take clones from? [h=3][/h]

I don't know, I'm two thirds into my first grow.

But my understanding is to harvest a plant you essentially end up chopping it up.

So I don't think there's any coming back from that.

If anyone knows different, post it up.

Ya, I have re-vegged then turned mother in order to save the strain MANY times.. no worries.

Just make sure to reveg gently, get her under some lower light 6500k cfls for a few weeks and start again, and it is almost 100% foolproof if the plant was healthy and the environment is good.. Leave the last 3rd of the plant (well, many leaves and few bud sites anyway) or so for guaranteed.. although I HAVE reveged entire plants with just a few leaves left and they have made it, not all of them will.
