Hi. I purchased the vivsun ph and ppm meter. The ph meter jumps all over the place and has a different reading each time i test the same solution. I would probably feel safer with a ph drop kit. The ppm meter seems ok.
I do not have time guessing what my ph is. Can someone suggest an accurate alternative? Preferably in amazon. Thank you.
Me too viva sun sucks with meters let me guess you got the yellow ph meter everyone I know has problems with it you better off with a good blue lab meter or just use the solution that comes with general hydro ph up and down comes with kit that more a accurate then viva sun

Beware buying Apera from AMZ... My first 2 8500s were old models, and were cheaper, but I had calibration problems with them. I sent them back to AMZ and bought direct from Apera. Not cheap at $479, and a new Swiss glass probe every year at $140, but about as accurate as it gets. Measures direct soil, or liquid.
I have an apera from Amazon, cheaper model though and it’s a piece of crap too, but every meter I’ve bought on amazon has been shit, the cheap yellow ones, the mid price grey ones, the $100 blue lab and the $50 apera. Im just using strips now but I think I might buy a Hanna or Milwaukee but direct from them not amazon. In all fairness though the blue lab was my fault, I forgot to store it in solution for a few months trying to dick around with organic living soil.
