im a follower of christ and a member of organized religion...i dont agree with alot but i do my best to love everybody anyways...i smoke to help my self be better at life

i have a similar outlook on experiencing beautiful in the ordinary.im a follower of christ and a member of organized religion...i dont agree with alot but i do my best to love everybody anyways...i smoke to help my self be better at life
so many things in life we all take for granted. sometimes i step back and look at my life even though things arent perfect, i try to be happy and content just living life and loving my family and loved ones. also i like to be out in nature to just admire its natural beauty and stillness at times.HotNSexyMILF

6 years of grade school I went to a private Christian school. After finding out how much I had been lied to through the church, I sought out looking for the 'truth'. From there I 'religion hopped' for a while. From my experience I learned that all religions 'worked' in a sense- as if the sheer belief in them made them so. I learned that there was a faint common message beneath nearly all religions. Finally I was introduced to the Theosophical Society- and couldn't be happier. It is not a religion, it is a gathering of people who 'understand' common spiritual truths and are committed to seeking spiritual knowledge from all sources without bias.
Religions were built upon common truths, and they all have their place. Religions are like training wheels- and because some people choose to use them doesn't make them better or worse.. However, exploitation of fears and beliefs has been a big driving force behind the negative effects from religions..

I'm a religious person but I don't follow any religion in particular. I'm a hodge podge of various things. One of my favorite sayings is "I love Christ, but his Christians piss me off." My beliefs are very complicated... but I have used weed in ceremonies and along with meditation/atral projection in particular.

The one real advantage (and one I feel is healthy, even if the religion is morally flawed) is being part of a like-minded group. It's nice to share beliefs with people.

I agree. Unfortunately I cannot find a like minded group. I can rarely find a like minded person. Anytime I find anything CLOSE it turns out not to be little more than cock strokin' or circle jerkin'. I'm looking for someone that will challenge the way I think in a positive way and for whom I can do the same. Logically, the probability of my dying very alone is like %90. Still, I like being alone even if I feel myself drifting further an further from Consensum Majorum. I think an unchained psyche scares people. I don't like faking chains either. Sometimes I put one foot in the box just to get by but if people ask, I tell 'em who I am. I don't bullshit because I don't need to. Hopefully I never will. But if the ARM or another movements gets real like the IRA I can play a part better than most of holywierd, all them damned RPG's lol.

Religion is Dope. It's like legal dope. It's expensive. It funds a morally bankrupt criminal organization hell bent on making everyone else an addict. It solicits children. Justifies itself with psychotic logic. Gives the power of life, death and law to a centralized (human) entity. Wost of all it propagates fear & insecurity which pave the way for the police state that does nothing to alleviate that selfsame artificial fear.
It's HUMAN cycle the propagates from the fear of death. The REAL 'Devil' (Personafied or metaphor....it's up to you) is the artificial fear and insecurity that spreads itself like a virus. It mutates into a fear of hell, violence, rape, loss. We take dope to forget for just a moment that we ARE going to die, and that we DON'T KNOW what happens to us. When people around us die, we fear FOR THEM. Their fear of death doesn't die. Fear DOES NOT DIE. It is like an elf, Immortal unless slain. We must slay our our own fear to release the chains of on our psyche.
Some are TRAUMATIZED by violence, mind games, sex, and death, so much so that they lose the fear. These people have not broken chains. They've traded the death chains for a far more horrible set of shackles.
We must break free for freedom's sake. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Fear is the 'Root of all Evil' if you will. I've written many dissertations on this concept I have developed myself. Where frued would assert it is sex, I assert it is fear.
Fear of Death is the Original Fear. Slay it, and all else dies.
While we cling to our crutches that let us limp in fear we will never achieve nirvana. I'm a real live Vampire Hunter.
