REMO CHEMO

Hmmm, just noticed this thread.
I bought a pack of these beans last year and ran one outside during my summer grow. She started quite nicely but definitely reached a point where she didn't want to veg any larger-kinda lost its vigor. Produced some nice flower just not much of it.
Decided to try another on this years indoor session. Popped a bean and she struggled enough that I popped another. Second girl went into the room, topped @ 4th node and waited. Growth was vigorous so I did a second topping and things went sideways. It was like the entire plant just put on the brakes and had a hormone explosion-weird growth. My 3 other strains were approaching size to flip and I just let the Remo do whatever it would.
I'm 6 weeks into flower and it's really sad to see the size difference between the Remo and the Aurora next to it...
I'll see if I have current pic that I can upload.

I popped around 15 so far. #2 was a bubba leaning dank keeper but it hermed.

#3 was a UBC leaning Keeper that was a straight fire... you can smoke it for months on end and it will still hit you like it did when you first got it. Straight Kush, b.o., perfume and clementine terps. 50/50 hybrid, but if you toke too much you'll be out like a light. AMAZING pain relief.

Overall, they had trouble germing, needing some GOOD Scuffing to get them to crack. Other than that, they were all great!

That's what I noticed from the one I've harvested so far too, it hits hard, its buzz even cuts through other smoke

Thanks for the pictures, that Aurora is a monster! I think I'm starting to see why it's not a more popular strain, not sure how stable it is? Good smoke though! Glad I kept it around and took cuts!

@Beachwalker Based on the fairly thin leaves and tall plant structure I'd guess it's a UBC Chemo leaning Pheno.

I had a few Sativa leaning Phenos too but the pheno I posted above stood out of the crowed like Tekashi69 would stand out at a funeral service for the mafia.

The bubba Pheno was really short, did not stretch at all, threw out all kinds of purples, and was a real heavy hitter... like a few bags and night-night. Unfortunately it threw balls 3 weeks in flower.

If it has the bubba, bubblegum, Kush, fruit, coffee, hash flavors/smells it more of a bubba leaning.

If it has fruity, b.o., Kush, orange, musky, terps it's probably more UBC.

...but you could get a cool cross of both?

I'm still looking for a really nice mixed cross, or another more stable bubba pheno! :) <3

Yes it's very tall and the leaf seem thinner too. I hope it's the UBC. I recently crossed the wacky remo plant #2 with GPS Gunslinger pollen and I'm going to crack some of those seeds this spring, now that I think of it I'm going to whack this one with some pollen tonight, she's got a long way to go so should be plenty of seeds

I don't know what to think of the weird#2 plant but the smoke is surprisingly strong, looking forward to harvesting this girl in a couple months (I've got cuts of both)

@Beachwalker and @Joint Monster I have just been looking at my 3 Remo's started from seed I will take some photos when Im doing my diary updates, from reading I really do not want the more stretchy phenos as they would not do well in my flower cab as its only 100cm in height. So some input would be great to sort them out if possible and I can then put the unwanted plants in the compost pile. Will let you know when the images are online.
Cheers.

Yeah I had a few sativa leaning Phenos that were strong sativa's, almost too much of a sativa for my liking, it left me unfunctional.

But the keeper pheno is really useful medicinally, and more of a balanced hybrid.
