Remote mounting drivers

Hey guys, any suggestions on where a good place to remote mount led drivers outside of my tent. I know they get hot, and I'm drawing a blank on where I should mount and what should I mount them to? I'm thinking wood isn't a good idea?

I posted a thread a while back asking the same thing. I wound up going with 2 milk crates stacked. drivers go into the top one and I have my power strips zip tied to the side of the bottom one so everything is off the ground.

my older cheaper method was to just use a wire baking cooling rack sitting on a shelf. easy to screw to a wall vertically if you want as well.

be sure you actually want to relocate the drivers~ LEDS you actually want your room to be pretty hot like above 78

so maybe put them at the intake if you need more heat (but be careful that it points at the roots maybe)
or put them at the exhaust to go into the lung room and help your fixtures

I just left mine on my fixtures and have my exhaust drawing down to the bottom of my tent with my intake at the top

I have them still on the fixtures, and I have cold air being drawn in from outside to cool them off, but it's getting warmer outside so I'm gonna have to switch up my game plan.

Not sure what your running for a driver, but my hlg-320's don't get near hot enough to make wood combust. Ive had mine mounted to the wall for a while on plywood, you can touch them no problem
Mine really don't get that hot either, I just figured with my luck......I prolly better not use wood. Lol

Would anyone know where to access or where to open the driver to wire in an extension cable on spider farms sf1000?
Good source for parts and connectors?
Thanks

Disconnect the wire coming out of driver to LEDs...put female connector on and move it along with the dimmer to the outside.
Put male connector on one end of the new extension cable and wire the other end back in to the light where you originally disconnected the driver from...plug it into driver female and you should be set.
As long as you keep the colors (or + & -) right you should have no troubles.
