Removing chlorides

As far as i know , before changing your water, it is supposed to stand to allow all the chlorine to disperse?

Is there any other way to remove the harmful products from the water as i dont have time to let water stand..?

I.e. aquarium products for fish to get rid of chlorine?

Your advice is greatly apreciated,

Cheers.

There are a few things out there to remove the chlorine out the water, but honestly i havent tried them.. You could get them from a pool supply store or a fish store. The only problem is what kind of chemical that product has and it what way will it affect your little young ones? I honestly would recommen just airing the water out for atleast 6 hrs, just to play it safe. But if you have no other choice by all means "experiment".

Yes there are products out there to use, I'd go to your local pet store that carrys fish and pick up a bottle the removes chlorine and chloamine, read the package to make sure no extra addidtives were added (some are sometimes that benifit fish but not plants)

I know that city water doesn't grow as good as the fresh spring water from the mountain. I was told that the clourine will naturally desipitate after it stands for a while. Sonn I'll be doing some sh*t to see how to use city water and find out what has to be done to make it grow good weed like fresh spring water does. I've am preparing the mother by starting and growing her in city water with the clourine.

i typically will aerate my 25 gallon res with a couple stones in it for 24 hours or so, or id typically leave a bucket to sit for a few hours and stir it ever so often... there have been times when ive just straight up mixed nutes into water fresh out the tap and threw it in the res with no ill effects...

edited to add:
as for spring water growing better dope, thats objectional. my tap water comes out at 110ppm, and ive never had to use cal-mag, and it does fine.
