Just think of all the co2 you could save with no leaves. No it really is . Think about that 3 feet of bare stems that could be solid bud instead.

LolIt's really not ridiculous at all.
This is the defoliation joke of the day winner!!!Just think of all the co2 you could save with no leaves.
Rofl....No it really is . Think about that 3 feet of bare stems that could be solid bud instead.
Yes, if you don't end up killing the plant, the leaves may grow back, but "only" in the new growth. Old leaf sites never grow back.We all know the leaves will grow back and the plant will finish.
But all anyone sees is more bud because there are less leaves blocking it from your view.
And people think they see what they want to see.
Hurting the plant is never going to increase yields
It will obviously just stall them.
Can you show any shred of science behind "schwazzing" method? Anything at all? Heres your chance...It's really not ridiculous at all.
How long did you keep getting high off the early thc? And how early was the flowering time?I made bho with fresh lower bud couple weeks ago, not the pro sub-zero method by a long shot. The resin was the color and consistency of sweeten condensed milk.
Give it a try, it was a soaring high for me.
It's all defoliation, it's a matter of kind, degree and timing.Well in my mind there is a big difference in pruning a sucker shoot and stripping all leaves and shoots 90% up the plant in flower, that's just ridiculous.
I just meant, trimming smaller buds isn't worth my hurt, so I trash them. Lower branches, that I have a hard time getting to. I can't sit for long times manicuring, so to be more efficient, I just keep the tops. I find Tops the easiest to trim.Defoliation means to strip the leaves. Pruning is common gardening practice. But even for tomatoes. It hurts yield. You can cut small branches and get bigger fruit but at quite a loss of total yield.
I have found this true with my plants and never cut anything unless I want a clone. A few bigger buds on top but the production I need shorted.
I do understand Dumme's point about trimming with a disability but he understands what is happening to his plants. And knows the plant will grow less bud.
it was a suggestion for finding ways to enjoy lower buds. So i will save myself the time in answering your defense of an imaginary contest. How long did you keep getting high off the early thc? And how early was the flowering time?
I used to cut early to give me more of that kind of high. But the more I grow them. The longer I keep leaving them. That gives them time to really get their full potency.
If I cut a bud in half and look in the microscope there are icy waterfalls of trichomes inside that are not there 2 weeks before.
I like to smoke the flowers by the way. I have no extraction experience except butter.
And our cakes will trip the user out for many hours. Nice Lon pulsating head and body high. The way I need them.
Impurities most likely, you have a good early warning system, ethanol is used to remove that.I didn't mean it that way. No contest intended. I wonder if the BHO is different in this way and maybe it is the immature flowers that cause me the headache.
I was considering maybe cutting off the slower lowers early to save time later and make hash. Or even butter. So I was wondering if it would be effective or if my tolerance would overcome it too fast. When I used to keep my plants to shorter schedule the high was like I stated. So I guess I will probe some off one and try like you suggested.
Sorry for the misunderstood rambling. I am hurting like many of us and it may be showing in unintentional ways. I came here to talk to like minds. Not argue.
Raw young flower and leaf juice has some great research science backing it, give it a look .Thanks. I too know the good feelings of helping someone in pain.
But Michigan is a farce. There is no legal medicine here. Even butter is illegal.
Somehow we are supposed to cure cancer in Michigan with flowers only. I understand it would take over an ounce of buds eaten in flower form per day just to make a dent in some illnesses.
