Haha maybe ya'll can just agree to disagree. But yes, you could easily minimize the risk at these events by thoroughly inspecting every essential part on the plane to make sure everything is solid. It's one thing when I plane is just doing simple passenger duties... but the acrobatic maneuvers and extreme G forces at an airshow puts extreme stress on every single part of the plane, making failure more likely. So there is really no excuse for anything but the most thorough top to bottom mechanical/safety checks.
