I have a clone that I have had it for three weeks now (not sure how old it was when I got it). It got some preflowers developing on the lower stem and more are coming in up higher. The plant is about 15" in height now. I am growing outdoors so I was not expecting flowering to start until September or October. She gets about 5-6 hours of full sun a day and then shade until night fall. Her lower buds got slightly bigger (about the size of a tic tac) and there are trichomes covering them. The pistils all turn red almost as soon as the preflowers come in. I was informed that turning pistils can simply mean the plant is mature and/or various other things such as different strains etc. What I want to know is will my plant continue to grow and actually develop colas later in the season? Or are these "flowers" a sign that she failed? She is still growing and looking green so it is not like she is dying.
