do i put them under a more aggressive than normal feeding schedule ?
To answer some of your questions,
Yes you CAN take clones right out of the cloner and put them in your final pots.
There are a few reasons why you might consider using smaller pots first, then transplanting into larger ones. First, if your planning on having a veg period, it kind of makes no sense to spread out a bunch of small plants in big pots, using smaller pots would make it possible to fit more plants under less lights. I.E. 100 3 gallon pots would require around 4 1k lights. 100 3 Liter pots would fit under 2 1k lights. Get my drift? Also, roots and rootballs have alot to do with your finished product. You dont want 1 foot plants in 5 gallon buckets because they will never have the chance to grow a nice tight rootball, and also you would be wasting soil and space. A good tight rootball is essential to produce good tight solid buds. A good rule of thumb is 1 gallon/foot in soil.
As for the feeding schedule that is pretty much strain & nutrient dependant. It really does depend on what your growing, but REMEMBER when growing LESS IS USUALLY ALWAYS MORE. If you shared a little more info as to strain/nutrients you will be using, maybe we can help you further.
Yes, SOG, in my opinion, is the most efficient way to grow, aside from vertical. It allows the grower to utilize almost all of the light and space available.
If you post strain, nutrients, room size, light size, container size, etc. maybe we can help you a little more!
