+ rep or - rep?

if you can look realy close and hard there will be a + or a - in the little gray box


it depends on who repped you

if someone with alot of rep gives you rep then you get alot of points
if a noob gives you rep then its worth no points

Sometimes it can be a plain box with no - or + in, i'm not sure what that means or why it's like that.

that means the person who left rep for you dosnt have enough rep himself to give you a point up or down...

im pretty sure that once that user reaches a level of rep though, the points will be given to you

Cool, the reason i was asking, cos i have a few + reps with no comments at all, from threads where i have commented on something, but no way deserve a +rep lol just wanted to know if it might of been a - rep lol, not complaining tho :mrgreen:

yea you know you can actually click the link and go right to the post you were repped for, and it will say;
this post is somewhat positive or it 's positive
this post is somewhat negative.

Yea i know what you mean where you click on the rep and i takes you to your post in that thread, but where does it say..

I get points no matter who's repped me or how they've repped me. That's one of the reasons why I get such a kick out of the negative reps, they ADD points. :lol:

no kidding. the rep system is really primitive compared to other bbs i've used.

on most other systems, you can tell +ve from -ve reps by the color of the little box (+ve reps are green and -ve reps are red) and you can tell who left them for you even if they didn't put their name in the comment

not that i care about reps, of course

yea sometimes when you are negrepped you still get some points. It's kinda funny

@Baz click on one of your reps and the in that post click the scale and you'll see it.

you can click the rep i just gave you.

As for -reps with no name, I think if you become elite theres no hiding..it show who..... if I'm not mistaken..........

Lol, i got 5 + reps because of this thread. tomorrows question will be, how many +reps can you recieve in 1 day lol j/k thanks for the info & the + reps all
