I keep seeing people say +rep. Can you actually up someones rep on here, or is it just being nice and giving someone props?

Yup you got it. If someone helps you out you can up the rep. Helps so you know if the person knows what they are talking about.

Cool thanks a lot. Apparently someone thinks I know what I'm talking about. I have 10 rep right now :) Unless of course they give everybody that so they don't feel bad about themselves.

see the scales up there next to whate number the post was in the thread(#5 is what this one will say unless i get beat to it.) and the orange triangle thats to report posts. if you click on the you can give somebody a +rep, how many points the +rep gives you depends on the number of posts the person giving the +rep has. new accounts +reps dont count until the account reaches a certain number of posts. when giving +rep it is customary to sign it by typing whatever you want in the comment box and then put -jebus2029 at the end of your comment. just like i did on the rep i gave you.

Thanks, just gave it a little test run. So how would I know you gave me rep? I didn't get a message or anything and I don't see anything in my profile about it, other than my current rep score.

I believe the little green bubbles are your level. The long orange bar below that is your progress in current level. The green bar is your activity.

I think.

click on "your profile" and then scroll over to VbExperience and click it. this will show you what you get poins for and how much points came from who or what thread!!

because they came from an account that hasnt reached a certain number of posts yet. their is a probationary period kind of. when that account reaches the threshhold it will turn green and the points will be added to your total.

Ive been here for a little bit and I still fuzzy on it....I have left them when others helped me but it seems that many dont know about it cuz I have help many that couldnt find the way out of a box, so I dont get many back?? Somebody started a rep+ thread and whoever went in got it....Not really helping shit! It does help you to determine if some of the info you might be getting is valid.
