how are your results with eight 50W COBS ?No problem. I run 4 cobs per 200w driver. I use meanwell hlg-185h-c1400b drivers and my friend is using hlg320h-c2100b. I'm not familiar with that driver or luminus cobs. You should go to the led lights page and get some advice before you buy.
I have been extremely happy with my cobs. I'm using 16 50 watt cobs over a 4x6. I don't keep track of total weight for the entire harvest, so I can't tell you any numbers. My buds are bigger and the total weight is more than when I grew with 2 600 watt hps over the same area. I save 400 watts and everything else is better. I like mostly that it is framed to cover the grow area perfectly. They are bright as fuck and don't get very hot. The only negative is the up front costs.how are your results with eight 50W COBS ?

I don't know a lot about quantum boards yet, but look at those too. They may fit your situation better. Either way, cobs or qb are the way to go.
I know that you may be hesitant to switch. You can loose a lot of money and harvest weight listening to a lot of these light sellers. I did. I have over $10,000 of trash leds that I expected to replace hps with. Most of them did ok, just directly under the light only. Then, after a few months of being driven too hot, some of the diodes burn out. Then some of the cheap ass drivers broke in mid flower. Then I saw greengeenes results and got an apache tech at600. I love that light. It definitely replaces a 100w hps, but is heavy and cost $2,500. Now that I know how easy it is to build a custom light that is more efficient than hps, the only question becomes which one.

Look at citizen clu048. cobkits has some for $10. $5 more for the newer models. You may be able to find some cheaper. I would get 36v cobs and two meanwell hlg184h c1400b or one 320h c1400b for $100. That's $340 plus less than $50 for the cob holders, frame, and wires. $400 for a 400 watt cob is pretty good. You can always add another 4 cobs if you decide that you want to yield more.

That's how i felt before i bought my first LEDs, then i got them and used them for several years, honestly they are really over hyped by people who couldn't manage their heat properly with HID lighting or people trying to sell you products. Could get 2 pounds per run with one of those in a 4x4 with proper training plus it has UV light and far red, unlike LEDs which have not a great spectrum for growing plants. UV is a huge factor in resin production meaning CMH grow buds will outshine LED grown buds.
