Repotting ??

Alright so I am not agreeing with the soil that I bought. (The Perfect Mix) potting soil has not been treating my plant well. Today or tomorrow I'm gonna be buying some new soil so I can repot.

My question is, when I go to take the plant out and change the soil, should I be trying to knock some of the loose soil off of the roots of the plant before putting it into the new pot with soil?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

lightly take the roots in ur hand and give them just the slightest shake to knock off sum of that old soil if theres still a lil on em just go ahead and repot it wont make a huge diffrence
