Not sure how safe re-potting is in flower, but those gals will be root bound soon in 1 Gal pots !!

if the roots are pushing up the side of the pot then it needs repotting now....otherwise just a couple of days and your plants rootbound and will make you cry at harvest time!!

I have had to do a few like this. Like BS said.. be gentle. Don't jump pot sizes too big for my 2 cents. From my experience repotting in late veg to flower if I jumped pot size too big it slowed the plant considerably, (roots wanted to grow back in I think) If you go from a 1gal to a tall 3 or even better a five. Try not to bury the stem any deeper also. I moisten my soil real nice and then delay a direct water for a day or so. It will likely set it back a little but don't sweat it, it's better than staying root bound. In the end you will be glad you did it.

How long did you veg it?? What medium? I would leave it personally. But that's me I grow in 1 gal bags with a week of veg and get a little over 28g per 1gal.
