Request for useful insights on drying/curing from growers in regions with high/low humidity

I'm particularly interested in feedback/input from growers who identify whether they're growing indoors in a region that has high or low humidity. I'm not asking you to identify a state/country outside of a regulated industry, please just indicate whether your region's humidity is high or low. I'm simply trying to calibrate a few points in my process with others, in a similar region, who consistently achieve funky, flavorful buds.

regional RH: high
curing/drying room RH, temp: 60% RH, 60F (actual temp often hovers 65F).
drying time: hang 7-8 days (increasing to 10, but 12's too long in my opinion) and net-dry 2-3 days.
jarring: partially sealed, then fully sealed with burping for ~6-8 weeks (assuming there's any left).
other details: [type here if you do something different and/or have particular strain or product recommendations].

I'm sure that's not the only way to do it. And I still haven't nailed down a repeatable process that doesn't require tweaks/reworking (i.e., I haven't quite figured it out yet). I've selected for strains that I was able to get to smell. I add nectars and all that ... but sometimes I fail to get the funk going. And, so far, I've only been able to get one strain to both smell and have a pronounced flavor. Funk/flavor will probably require another round or two of pheno selections but my process also needs improving.

Your personal preferences probably have a little to do with where you are located. In regions where humidity's generally low, growers might hang-dry for fewer days than in places where RH is generally high (like where I'm at). Although my dehumidifier is set to 60%, I'll bet the actual RH is a lot higher than someone's basement in a more arid location. Consequently, I'll probably need to hang-dry for a few more days than I have been. A week isn't enough, but twelve days is too long -- and hanging in a net tower for a few days isn't the same as a few extra days hang-drying. Perpetual bloom here, so I'll hang the next group to finish for ten days.

I look forward to your insights.

It is the tweeking that makes it yours. Personal take your time. Profit? Well do what you have to. All I can offer.

MICHI-CAN, I'll be experimenting with different hang times, so I'll get there. Perpetual bloom will give me plenty of opportunities to get it right.

This question's been asked a million times. I added the regional RH angle to see whether I could elicit a few insights someone might not have thought of had I asked the more general question, "what works for you?"

Best.

I use a hang of at least 12-14 days at 50-65F. And 40- 60% RH. Jar and leave at 68-70F in the dark for a week. I then burp every other day for 3-6 weeks. Again seal and leave for another few weeks to a month. At which time I determine jar RH and open in the needed RH of the favorable days until I reach 43-46%RH. I cure for months. And well rewarded for it.

Was trying to be brief but honest. How may I further describe my methods to aid you in your request.

Rh high Great lakes surroud me, hang 6 to 8 days, until dry enough imo, then clean debone put in conaiters burp a couple xs a day usually gone by full cure, trying prepeptual this time too, missed a few weeks bc of males. Tent full now 8 in 4x4 7 gal pots first plant is day 83 so within a couple of weeks lll harvest her, had low ph issues this grow, most leaves dead on oldest, younger plants doing better. Oldest fat and chunky, white hairs everywhere still, 10 to 14 days to go lm hoping but could be longr due to ph issue, l didnt callibrate my meter! My bad.

Super helpful. Assuming you're in Michigan, your state's average RH is actually a little higher than mine. Right now, I'm thinking that my most crucial mistake is the shorter hang time. I tried it once at 12 days and it turned out poorly. But -- my short-term isn't so hot -- that could actually have been prior to me controlling my dry/cure room.... I'm busier than I am a dumb-ass.

My next group is 5 Larry Birds. Yield-wise, they're all about the same. But they may have come from 2 or more seed lines. I'll hang 2 for 10 days, 1 for 11 days, and 2 for 12 days.

30-70% by the front passing here. LOL. Just be sure those stems crack or break with a crisp, sharp snap before jarring.

Hoping for 10 days or more as denser bud formation and no early chop, chop!

Honestly forget the graphs and charts. Just previous events. Nature is not following flow charts. Play it by ear. Get a feel or get lucky.

Will do, ty! Mich. Beautiful, had a hard time with drying too fast in past, always wait for snap! Sometimes its been way too fast.
I'm a bigger screw up than most. Along with a more primitive skull. I just grow hash basically for my pain control. Despise pills and whole doctor scam.

Want to save others from costly mistakes over my tenure.

K.I.S.S. and The less we interact with the plant the better.

Agree but l do interact more than most as l train hard. Am trying to save ppl from repeating my mistakes too! Thats why were here! I find my own problems and solve them, its what google is for, but now l will bring any questions to riu! Alot of good growers here, like u!

Honestly a bitter broken old man of strong opinion and harder pride. Learning what really matters after years of being "the guy to be". And waking up to be disgusted by me one morning.

And train away. I do hardcore. Don't mess with inputs unless needed. And only small changes in steps was point. If you are under 30 I've been planting seeds longer than father thing. Humor. Laugh damn it. That's funny.

And sincere apologies to the op. I am a train wreck. But I posses a bit of insight that is now available to you. TY.
