Request for useful insights on drying/curing from growers in regions with high/low humidity

Currently at 11:05 pm PST where I'm at.

Precipitation: 0%
Humidity: 43%
Wind: 6 mph

Just perfect weather.

Is 43% humidity typical of your location? Does it affect the # of days you hang your plants? I'd think you'd be able to hang for <10 days.

Just curious. You may present a good counter-example, since MICHI-CAN and I are both in locations with avg. humidity > 70%.*

*This is just a theory, I have no support for this. I'm trying to understand a few things, so I can dial-in my conditions.

It ranges from month to month and varies during different parts of the day. In the winter the humidity can hit 80% It usually drops in the spring/summer. But it's been lower than the average lately. It's now 52%. I'm less than 80 miles from the pacific ocean.

Using the Koppen Climate Classification I'm in CSB zone. If that's of any help. I think the average here is 68%. But there are pretty big swings between the high and low numbers.

Thanks. Ok, your area's not much different. But you are <70%. How many days do you hang-dry your plants before jarring them (assuming that's your approach to drying/curing)? Any less than 10 days? Probably not much difference.

How long I dry before jarring depends on the time of the year. But I only need to worry about that for the last harvest before shutting down the lights for the summer. It might dry faster than I like but it's just the way it is. It still smokes great. I'm not talking about a 3 day dry but quicker than I would prefer. The only mitigating actions I take are to put the weed in a paper bag when those low humidity conditions exist. Weed still turns out great.
