Your topping seemed to be a good success, thank to Uncle Ben too! Considering the CFL you are using, looking very good so far. I recently have tried CFL, and was surprised in how successful i was. It just takes some work to move them lights all the time, cause i liked to keep them as close as possible without burning them.

Exactly how many watts are you using, and how many bulbs? Keep up the good work.

Yea I know what you mean, I was suprised at my first grow which was done with cfl's.. On my first grow I was using around 250 watts between 2 plants and got roughly 3 oz's off both combined.. Which I was honestly supprised to come out with that!

This time around I'm using the same cfl's and a 250watt HID metal halide so the main light is much more intense and I'm mixing up the spectrums with the MH and 2700k cfl's I have.. I'll break the cfl's down for you though, 2x68 watt cfl's "the big boys from HD." 4x 26watt cfl's, 1 of the smaller cfl's are 5500k but the rest are 2700k.. I'm interested to see how this mixture pans out because I know most people veg with metal halide but I have heard of some good bud growth shown from them by there self aswell.. Damn their promos just keep getting bigger and bigger. I wonder what they mean by "second grade" seeds though. Does that mean they are possibly small or immature seeds?

I don't know but that was definitely a bad choice of words because that had me wondering for a second too...
