Reserva Privada OG Kush and Barney's Farm G13 Haze

yure loaded down ,great job on the selection, i love my og ,the worst thing in the world isto run out of dank and have to smoke this crap around here.
 
Very f*n nice.. whats in the screen... strain? I love your methods... I'm subbed.. my first scrog w bagseed sucked and was a hastle with hydro so I LST in totes and buckets for easy res changes.. not that such a thing exists in my world... EASY RES CHANGE... soil becoming more and more appealing... :D

Whata fucken coincidence. I ordered exactly the same seeds. O.G. Kush(Reserva Privada) and G13 Haze(Barneys Farm). And they gave me Bubba Kush, Sour Cream, The Church, Cloud 9, and Cole Train. I germ alittle different then you. I soak for 24 to 48 hours. Then once they have cracked, and a tail is sticking out, I place between wet napkins on a plate until they sprout. From there they are grabbed with tweezers and are placed in rockwool cubes and placed in a tray under CFL's. I had 6 O.G's just like you and I fucked one up just like you by tryin to take the shell off ( I will never do that shit again). So right now I have 5 O.G.'s and 5 G13's and one of each of the other ones. Only thing is mine were places in cubes since 06/03 and they seem fucken small to me. And the G13's started looking like they were gettin nute burn. They are all lookin pretty good now, with new growth and stuff. But they still look rather small to me. Let me know what you think Tman! BTW they were placed in Canna Coco and are on a drip with Botanicare Tri-Flex nutes. I have always used hydroton but am tryin the Coco for the first time and it seems so far so good.

Hey rfun, nice choice on strains! Good luck with your grow and with the coco, I will be waiting to see how you do. You have quite a few nice plants there, I'm not sure on how big they should be as I have only hydro to go on. I am gonna try one more time, I have two more OG's that have have sprouted and one has dropped it's shell with the other looking close behind.

Thanks man, I am anxious to get an OG grow in since I waited for a long time for these beans to get back in stock. I just hope they come out half as nice as your plants look. You have some very nice grows and yes I too hate it when I run out of dank and have to buy a lesser quality smoke.

Hey welcome JustinThyme and thanks for the compliments. Sorry to hear of your hassles with the res changes. I used to have that problem with single waterfarm units until I went with the eight unit waterfarms with the circulation upgrade. If I need to change a res out I just drop a pump with long tube down into my controller unit and pump it out into a bucket or something, no more hassle. Although with the House and Garden line of nutrients I am using, I don't change out a lot of water. I usually just keep adding more and the only time I really change it out is if I have a problem or when I start to flush. I wish I knew the strain that I have. I was given this strain by someone and was told it had been around since the 70's. All I know is that it came from the Portland Oregon area and is truly a great strain.
 



Nice chiller, hows it working out for ya? What did it set you back? How much power does it drain, amps? Very cool.
 
i set my water in the growroom where it stay moderate temps but before i installed the ac watered with real warm water and they drooped alot during watering more than usual.yea excited about these OG18,all 6 of mine plus freebies up and goin.hope i can givem some justice,lol.
 
So I spent the weekend getting my room ready for my next run. I have a waterfarm 8 pack running with the circulation upgrade kit and some modifications that can be found by searching waterfarm mod & tips. It is not fun to clean all the pieces and the hydrotron rock but it is well worth it to start out nice and clean each time. Still not fun though :)

I have two Lumatek 600w HPS ballasts with GE lucalox bulbs and econowing reflectors. I use House and Garden Aqua Flakes including all the additives. Well after some work I am ready to go again. Ah and some of the nugs I was smoking while cleaning and getting things put together. This is why I do it. I will run the system for a few days with it full of hydrotron and make sure pH is steady. This weekend I will probably get these two OG Kush's in there. These are the two I saved from my heat problems earlier and they are starting to do good again. I will update as things get going....

Thank you sir, it has taken me a while to get my setup together like this and has been a learning experience for sure. I started off with two waterfarm buckets under a 150w HPS and have been adding to it since.
 
So after a little bit of a delay I finally got things transplanted into my main room today.

So sorry it took so long to get to the main grow but it's on now and I can't wait to see how these OG's do.

the #18 is a select og !dude was correrct out of 40 the 18th was picked because of its phenotypes...it would be like you having 40 kids and picking the strongest to represent your family name and to re-populate....the strongest and the fittest!...I have some og kush and the select #18 germing also 5 g-13 pineapple express. anyone ever hear of thc bomb?
