Hi,
yes, I got multiple females and was not very pleased with any of them. i decided to pick the best female (all looked pretty identical) to try growing out again, just to make sure. months later I flowered her out again and was very disappointed. The smell is a very faint og smell, earthy smell. high was nothing special. Watered down OG in my opinion.

The OG #18 is not the same genetic line as the Ocean Grown line of world renown. I liked the #18 but it got lost in the mists as others took her place.

I guess I'm wrong on that but distinctly recall reading it wasn't linked to the original OG when I was growing it and did some research on the strain.
Was my go-to strain for quite a while and even the 3.5 year old buds I have left are a nice break in the menu.
I crossed it with some half decent Crop King Blueberry but never got around to growing any of those out. The bud formation was very similar for both with big round balls rather than long cola formation. The most colourful plant I had grown 'til then.

You read a lot about people growing the same strain from different breeders and getting totally different plants. The guy I got mine from has been growing mainly to supply larger growers with rooted clones and sourcing seeds for sale for at least 20 years. Business dropped off for clones so he's into growing bud and having no problem making a buck off that now.
Last time I made it to the city he gave me some more beans he bred himself. Sugar Black Rose, Early Edition is high on my sprout list. F'n narcotic stuff and a few months before gave me big tester bud that I found a few beans in so he gave me more beans for some decent pheno hunting. He crossed Violator Kush with Strawberry Banana Kush. The violator was fire so hoping the cross or a good pheno is as good. Some Sensi Star for a blast from the past tho I've never had any to smoke. I took him a few dif strains too and gave him the chems to make STS with.
I have another dozen or more strains I want to grow as well so no lack of stuff to try. Decisions, decisions but all my get up and go seems to have got up and gone. lol
Recently started micro-dosing with 'shrooms to see if that can get me going again and so far I'm optimistic. Who knew such a tiny dose, 0.015g, could give me a mild buzz. I've been feeling shitty for days and took less than that an hour ago and feel refreshed and ready to party! Might just start tidying up the mancave a bit instead. lol
