I have a question for the purple pheno ! Not trying to jack your thread just asking a question. I've posted in plant problems but just saw your thread.
I'm growing purple diesel and am having a hard time telling when its finished. When I check trichromes they go clear, semi purple and full purple. I didn't really see any cliudy or amber. You guys have that problem at all ? here are two pics of the last crop.

Anyone have any knowledge on how much the Purple Wreck stretches during the light change? ..or if it responds well to topping to LST?

Im running this variety under a 1K with a DWC system. I've only noticed 2 different phenos, as stated previously. Can anyone tell me an approximate harvest window for both of the phenos? No hermies, soo far. Im midway through week 6 since 12/12.. So, should I start flushing if the TW pheno finishes in 7 weeks?

Personally I really like Purple Wreck from RP, though you do have to watch out for the occasional hermie which I would imagine is from the Trainwreck genetics, most cuts of TW are very prone to hermie but if you keep a tight set up and dont introduce any extra stress it will usually make it out just fine. However many seeds you have I would take a few cuts of each plant and keep them numbered for down the road...find your favorite plant/s at the end of flower and you'll have your keeper. Ive always good results from RP/DNA on almost everything Ive ran, though I wasn't at all impressed with their OG but the OG18 is straight up fire without a doubt. Ive been hearing that they are going to start offering up regular seeds on all their strains, already see that Kosher Kush reg's are up for sale. Early on in my seed days I fell into the fem'd seed craze because of obvious reasons but I can tell you that if you can dedicate a small space to keep a male or few males, you can hand pollinate certain mid-level branches and have more seeds than ever. If so, always try to pollinate between about day 20-25 for best results...sorry to ramble on but Im glad that these strains are going to be released in regular form. keep Smoking Everyone! Here is a purplewreck cut I got off a friend of myn. He wasn't able to tell me much about it and I don't see him that much. So I am just growing it out and seeing what I am working with. I have smoked the same clone before.it was tight limegreen buds with nice deep purple hues all through it. I remember it smelling fruity/grapey but overall I got stoned and forgot the little things...Long story short me and my old lady smoked it on are way to walmart and by the time we got there we were both stoned to the bone laughing and chink eyed! we walked around grocery shopping for a hour just bullshitting all the way around the store. We ended up with a bunch of junk food mostly for are food supply to...was cool but damn we got hungry later during the week! lol so all in all I have had a good experience with this cutting so far! Its a bit of a slow grower but its not the worst strain I have grown! I am real familiar with trainwrecks.I had 3 diff cuttings at one point.2 crosses and the original arcata. I can deff see the tw in this but it seems more to the urkle side of the genetics! Its about 3weeks into flower now maybe! So soon I will get to try her out! also my friends flower room is in the 80s and he gets decent purpling on the buds. Like I said just streaks through the lime green.so in my super cool setup that gets down to 65 I am crossing my fingers for a good purple mother!
Hope everyone enjoys there Purplewrecks! I give it a 8/10 right now! We will give it the true test soon. I wanna see if its purple and keeps that good tw potency! That's ultimately what I am looking for.
