My Sour Tangie (DNA) throws single leaves like that also. Must be that Sour D cut.
Honestly, I am going to wait on the single leaf thing for now. When I first got this cut she a little stressed out, even tho I was able to keep her green and as healthy as I could, I think she may still have been a little stunted. This current run she has a blueish tint to the leaves and way less single blades. I run perpetual so we shall see.

Our Skywalker (originally called "Sativa Kush") displays the three leaf trait. When starting in veg she sometimes throws a single leaf. They are voracious feeders that take ridiculous ppms (1800-2500) and love it. We've deliberately tested the high ppms on this strain but typically don't run them that high. We still get great results using a more normal range. Yield is pretty good for an an almost pure sativa. It's one of our more popular strains but can be a bit too intense and "racy" for some:

Looks fire, very similar traits between these two. How long does she take?
Sweet spot is right at 9 weeks. If we go 10-11 weeks the stuff just gets too damn racy. You'd think it would get some amber trichomes and lose some of the raciness but this is an almost pure sativa. It just keeps going... and going... and going... and it does what we call "bubbling up." Turns almost velvet-like with trichomes. We're afraid to run it too long - might have a Frankenstein on our hands, lol.

I have yet to see an amber yet, but IMO 77 was too long. The flavor was way more coffee, not as fuel. I just chopped some at 70, almost dry, will report.

Thanks for your opinion. Have you ever grown Skywalker or the "original OG Kush" strain like that in the picture I posted above? 420 Magazine forum had an excellent thread on the strain - http://www.420magazine.com/forums/medical-marijuana-strain-reviews/129401-sativa-og-kush-aka-skywalker-og.html

Our cut was sourced in the early 2000's in LA from the guys in the 420 thread. I'll maintain their anonymity but trust me when I say it is the absolute real deal.

We have some running right now. We are at the end of week five and the plants are starting to bulk up a bit. We find that Skywalker seems to lag in the first 3-4 weeks but around week 5-6 begins to fill out nicely. And then around week 8-9 they start to "bubble up" and get super frosty. As I mentioned we've run the strain up to 11 weeks with great results. It gets more sativa-like and racy the longer we run it. But most people simply don't like that it's so powerful it goes beyond racy and often makes patients too anxious and jittery. We've had folks throw up after smoking this stuff 'cause it overwhelms them.

But for those who like a soaring, cerebral high with an almost psychedelic experience Skywalker is their favorite by far. Super energetic if you can get beyond the raciness.

This is our experience, please take what you need and leave the rest.

:peace: Peace & out.

There have been a lot of older OG's coming out of the closets now. Many claims of "original" og terps and such. I never have had a clone only cut, all the moms I keep I have collected over the years, some better than others but your skywalker seems like a lady than would look nice in this stable.
The closest to an OG is a dog S1 cut I have had for about 5 years.

Here's a shot of a fat bottom girl for ya'. On of our Skywalkers at week six. Fattening up nicely. Notice the three-leaf trait? Might also spot some single blades in there. Funny huh? This is one of the strongest and most popular strains we've ever grown. A patient favorite for the ability to block pain without knocking them down like many Indica dominant varieties.

Took another shot of the Skywalker yesterday. Didn't have time to wait until lights out, sorry. My phone camera has a narrow depth of field so often the shot is focused in some areas and not so focused in other areas. In this particular shot the focus is on the top of the bud and shows the extremely heavy trichome production. This is beginning of week 8 with at least one more week to go. The plants are doing what we call "bubbling up", lol. In the next week they will increase trichome output until the 'chomes look like clusters of grapes. Beats anything I've ever seen on any other strain we've ever run. One of our partners just got a USB microscope. I'll get her to take a photo of a fresh bud when we pull 'em down next week. Should make for some great bud porn. Anyway, here ya' go:

I've read that rp sour diesel is not that Great. Glad you found one you like.
I read the same thing, but I am not sure about others reviews. I readonethat said it wasnt even sour at all.
No way possible we got the same pheno. This is most def. the most offensive thing I have ever planted.
After years of trying to source a sour cut, now I found this and I wonder if a sour cut could challenge it.

MAy I ask if those skywalkers are from seed or are these clone only skywalkers? They look outstanding either way, kudos.

@ shiskaboy supposedly the odd leaves are a skywalker trait the stuff i grew out was from r/p who says in their description they crossed skywalker to their og & i think what i had is skywalker for the masses & what you have is the real-deal that youre probably not gonna find from a seed vendor the r/p version is good but they admit its not pure skywalker & mine when young didnt like heavy feedings but somewhere around the time they were ready for the flip develop an appetite to the point i modified my feeding schedule to include some grow nutrients well into the bud cycle which kept my leaves green & healthy
