Retarded Seedling?

Hey all, I have a seedling issue. Out of my 11 new sprouts, these two were the last to come up. These two are feminized GHS White Widow.

Now although both of these sprouted late (and at the same time), the second is growing normally - half the size of my other seedlings, but normally. The first, however, seems to be - wierd? I don't know what else to call it.

It started with a twisted stem - that seems to have mostly straightened, but now, it only seems to be growing the cotyledons - the leaves don't want to come out! I think I can see them in there, but they aren't coming! Considering all the rest of my seedlings are thriving, I don't think it's the environment. Anyone else ever have this? Will she grow or should I toss her?

I have had some slow starters turn out to be great plants. I would just grow it out and see where it goes. If it is a genetic dud, you will know soon enough.

yes i have seen this before its simply a dud seed .
i have only had one like this in exactelly the same conditions (when i planted 10 of the same seeds) and if there is no visible first 2 leafes emerging its for the trash but if you see leafes emerging just let it be and do its thing.
no point binning it untill you are 100% its not good or growing and that way you have nothing to lose.

Funny thing as i planted 7 seeds right into the promix with no germinating first. Only 4 sprouted , 2 are doing great and the other 2 were late sprouters as well and are just getting the new leaves now. One of thems problems is that the leaves are curling downwards into the bottom of the leaf!! I took out the other 3 that didnt sprout and i looked through the soil to see what exactly happened and i couldnt find 2 of the 3 seeds , like they just disappeared or something and the 3rd had sprouted but didnt make it through the soil since my drainage holes werent big enough and the soil was to wet as it didnt drain!! Oh well its only $15 per seed..LOL, and yes they are feminized as well. I just germed the other 2 feminized NYC Diesel and have 3 Spae BomB (Subcools strain) germing as well!! Hopefully i get some better results germing first the right way!! Good luck!!

How long did it take for the leaves to come out?
