So i started my outdoor inside late february because my goal was to have 8-10 lb trees. Well i had 50 in all and had the hours on 17 and off 7. I should had trusted my gut and went with 14 on and 10 ofd but i also wanted them to sex out when i put them outside. Usually they show a hair and then go back to veg. Well i was running out of space inside around the beginning.of april so i had.to go ahead.and throw them outside.around the 1st week of april. The weather had been good. Well they showed their sex within 2 weeks. Well then by the end of april they had a few more hairs, which is not what im used to.seeing. the hours.of.light are exactly 14hrs and 15 minutes.of daylight May the 5th. So i read many forums and came to the.conclusion.that i needed to cut back the branches with the most hairs. There were.no trichomes or.calyx. just hairs. So, i then gave them a dose of AG420 grow up and grow out pure nitrogen. And i foliar.fed.them some.maxicrop seaweed 0-0-12. Its great stuff. Anyways my assumption is the plants were around 3 weeks of.floweriing. now they seem to be in a.stand still and they threw a.couple white hairs.out but.ibe noticed some.(hairs)are.turning.brown. i will include.a.picture.of.my TGA cheesequake. So you can see.what they looked.like before i cut them back. The strains with. More sativa havent haired out as much.
So.with daylight increasing daily/weekly..and everything else ive.done, do you guys/girls think they will.switch back to.veg?
I love having a variety and i made my own crosses last fall that are looking great.
I grew tga strains last year minus a few different strains such as sour tangie which grew.absolutely amazing outside!

I had on male by tga 9lb hammer and i used.to breed my tga space candy, tga jacks cleaner ll, and bx hammer.
I call them. Space hammer, jack hammer and hammer bx-1.
So i have those and i ordered tga cheesequake, tga jacked up, tga jesus og and Qrazy train.
I have crocketts tangie i got 4 fem out of 12 seeds! Oh well
I have humbolt org trainwreck and i have from neptunes..code black (girl scout forum x blackberry og)
Peppermint pig from neptunes
Blue dream x mr X. (Beautiful plant and super vigorous.
So after i weeded out the males. I kept a jesus.og male. Qrazy train male. Hammer.male. code black male and blue dream male and tangie male.
I plan to breed most of those.only to themselves minus a couple cross breeds.

I ended up with 40 fems out of 50. Probably the best outcome ever for me.

All the plants look remarkable all things considered. They were like 4ft bushes so im a bit crushed.after wacking them down to about 2ft. Most.of the lower stuff didnt have hairs.hardly.

So do you all think theres a.better chance of.reveg being that.they really didnt have any buds just hairs?
Thanks.for.any advice! And here.is a.picture of.cheesequake...

Those plants look like they are already well into flowering. I haven't pulled a plant out of flowering that far along, but I'd like to believe its possible. I'm just not sure what kind of results you will have.

Personally I start my plants on a 14-10 from the beginning and match a day to the light schedule, and then move outside on that day. This prevents them from going in flower. If you want to sex your plants while they are in veg it's simple. Take a cutting(the cutting when you top works best) and place it in a cup of water. Make sure the water is only about half way up the cutting. Take the cup and place it under your grow light until it starts to sprout a root. Then, shut off the light and force the clone into immediately flower. This way your plant is completely unaffected.

I did the clone sexing thing already. I didnt use a cup i used a clone king aeroponic..but you say these are well.into.flowering but they only have like 7-8 hairs. They are maybe 2nd week to 3rd tops. Since the.hours.of.light changed.to.14 and continuing to change, they arent really flowering or.growing which makes.me.think they are gping back to veg. Ive read many forums on here where MANY people talk about revegging plants after thwy harvest. Or have you heard of monster cropping? Which is what i was hoping for. I want my plants to be bushy and monster cropping is suppose to make that happen. But thanks for your comment anyways. Im hoping for someone with more experience with this sort.of.thing monster crop etc/reveg etc etc.

I am on my second flower run with Alien Antifreeze from seed. Took her 9 weeks the first run (seed run) chopped all the top flowers leaving only a few nodes below. Re-vegged for about a month or two, then once she started growing, another few weeks of veg, and she's at 7 weeks in flower (2nd time) today.

Just give them time under 24hrs of light if you want to reveg, it can take a long time.

It's rare to find a plant that WON'T reveg, unless you take it so far into flower to where it's dead on the stick, or so far stressed out it just wants to die.

The picture doesn't come in clear to me which make it look like little buds. If you only have some hairs just increasing light should throw it back into veg. Just trying to be helpful.

Anything here in the South Florida will reveg after May 5...at least here at my house. Give them some time. They will get there.
Yes i am very much aware of florida i was born in vero beach and all my family still lives there. You guys are usually a few weeks ahead.of.us but not too far. I cant put them under 24 hours.of light and personally i.dont want.to stress them anymore. I feel.like they will start to grow the more hours.of light increase.weekly. plus theyre.all very green and healthy. I was able.to yield 5 lbs off 9lb hammer and space candy last year.in a 200 gallon smart pot but this year.using 400 gallon with hopes of 8-10lbers. As long as they start growing! But im.not.totally stressed because i have clones.of.each and they are really coming along fast. I was just trying to see how big i could get.them but screwed up by using 17 hrs instead.of 14. Or if i.would had waited until may 5 or.so. but thanks for.your comment and nice.to meet another fellow.floridian! Are.you a native? Did you hear about the bs bust.the.cops did on all those poor folks at the music.fest in the spring?

Not a native, but a confirmed transplant. I'm a Florida girl now! No, I didn't hear about the bust, but it doesn't surprise me. I don't go to many festivals anymore for that very reason. Keep me posted on how your plants progress. Sounds like you have a great season going!

I don't think you needed to trim them back like that, but I have only dealt with early flower once. That was last year when I was way too early. {I was outdoors from the start} I killed all the males, and just waited it out on the females. It did slow them down. At least you have clones of everything. You can always take clones of your clones and grow four 2 pounds plants of each strain instead of one beast.

Good luck.

A thought about hours of light. {except for my spring crop, I use no lights at all, so take my advice with a grain of salt} I have heard of folks using long hours of light to veg early on, but they gradually cut it back to match the natural hours for the date they are going outside. It is the big change from 17 to 14 hours that will make one flower at hours that should maintain vegging.

Well ive had people say kill them and start over but evem after.trimming back, they are.still 3ft.tall.with stalks an inch in diameter..the hours.of.light are certainly longer so.i.checked.yesterday and guess what...they are starting.to grow again! I have too.much money and time invested to give up on them. Plus i have a cut.of.every one and the clones are.progressing even more.rapidly. it doesn't bother me that the big ones are a little.slow right now due.to the whole reveg process because.plants really dont grow much until.the 3rd and.4th week.of.may. And honestly in my region, late June and July are the prime months. Even august is super.good for the sativas getting their stretch on. Last year I had a sour tangie from reserves private, first tangie ive ever grown and even though i had the bitch caged in, some stupid stoner pest kept eating it as soon as it grew back a little. So i almost gave up.on her but instead I bought some plastic caging that had small round holes and was a green color. I.put it around the bottom 2ft of the other cage and that.finally.kept the little a-cold away. So anyways, being that spot tangie is mostly sativa it finally started to grow by the first of July and it had.been eaten down to nothing but like 2 sun leaves. So i didn't go back to see it for a month since i had it in supersoil and we had plenty of rain..well around the 2nd week of August i looked and.could.not believe before.my eyes! It was the most.beautifully structured plant and had several long branches from.where.it was.cut back in so many places and it was super wide and about 5ft tall at that time. So i have her.somr ag420 grown-up and grow-out. It had everything else.it.needed.in the soil. Also it had not shown any hairs at all where all my other strains had shown and wete well on their way into stretch mode which is probably my favorite time because they.really do.their thing. Some.double..even triple. Sour tangie quadrupled! It finally started to stretch by the last few weeks.of august and well.into.sept. I ended up getting 3.5lbs off her..i was amazed. So i mentioned this story because as i was saying I dont care if they are a little slow in the first half of may, they will always come back strong. I'm definitely looking to get 5-10 on average.per plant. Especially the qrazy train, the cheesequake, jesus og, space hammer, jack hammer and hammer. And for the first.time in growing pure tangie from crocketts. I'm super excited about that. Oh also the jacked up. Jack herer crossed with jack the ripper. Anyways I fucking love my plants! And i love to see.the smile on my friends faces when they sink their noses into a phat jar of goodness:) have a nice day!

I've got a kosher tangie now. Thinking about ordering some regular tangie and maybe a couple more kosher tangie, just for the different phenos (2-3) I love the citrus smelling strains. Tangie is top I believe. Good luck with your grow, may the grow gods bless you...

Fyi everything is reveging full swing. My theory i am now convinced the further they are into flower the longer they take to reveg. The strains with more sativa had not put out near as many hairs therefore they have revegged faster and grown more. The others that had little popcorn clusters that i had to trim back more were.a bit slower to reveg BUT they are growing now! In 25 years of growing this was the first.time i ever encountered this and its.all because of.my desire.to "GROW TREES WITH PINEAPPLES!" thats my good friend.and i motto.these days. #1000 gallon smarts filled.with the finest organics. Happy growing everyone. May it rain every when you need.it so you dont have to break your backs..for those of you who arent blessed with living in cool ass states like oregon, cali etc..
