Its normal , all bud material as in pistils & calyxs will die off before new veg growth can happen , when reveg takes place its a very slow process , your 1st new growth won't even resemble weed , shit looks like oak leaves at 1st , it takes a few sets of new growth leaves & nodes before the plants are comfortable in vegging & produce healthy growth but all pistils & bud sites getting brown out is normal step 1 to reveg .

Ok i c... Thank you..... Would it be a bad idea to cut the bud sites off the plant?..... If done correctly would that make the reveg happen quicker since there are no buds for the plant to spend energy on.. Or wait for it to die off?

Damn can't find any on this phone.

Just keep them under 24h light and they will "push" branches out of the buds eventually.

It will begin with a wonky looking single leaf. Then more will push out. Wait until several start making branches before trimming off the bud matter.

Typically reveg plants have TONS of branches. Select the best branches and trim away the rest, and the plant will be ready for your room.

This can take up to a month. Sometimes more.

Anyway, are you seeing any funky new growth?

And the wonky leaves are normal. They will begin to look like what your used to when thy turn into actual branches.

I've always thought it was easier to just start a clone crop instead of reveg. But I have taken friends genetics after they harvest and reveged plants.

Sometimes if we plant clones outdoors in May, and then it gets cloudy for a week they bud out a bit in early season. It takes so frickin long to push out of that bloom cycle. Sets them back 3 weeks or so. Where as seedlings cannot bloom with low light May days, so they can actually go in the ground in March.

My mom gave me two budded out plants in June. The White, and Grandaddy Purple. The GDP pulled out of it fast. The White took forever!

Anyway, good luck! What strain are you revegetating?

Autos are crap.

No matter what the forum trolls say.

Stick to REAL cannabis. Not ruderalis. Autos are taking all the skill out of growing and giving a mediocre product. They are the Walmart generation of plants. Shit.

I would stick to well known strains like Chemdog and Headband and Trainwreck. But that's just me. I've had bad luck with small seed companies unstable genetics.

Ive heard pretty promising things about the autos of today......im pretty convinced.... I may try a few after this for experience... And too be able to distinguish the difference.... Chemdog is one of my top 5 strains imho .... And i will for certainly grow some....

Thanks for the advice on the autos

I'm not convinced.

Anything I can't clone and mother doesn't belong in my garden. I've also noticed quite a difference in growth between 20 year old seeds that aren't feminized and new feminized seeds. The old genetics grow way bigger and faster than new strains. I just don't see the point of Autos indoors except if someone can't really grow.
