Reveg vs starting from seed

Do you re-veggers prune the root ball before going back to 18/6 (or whatever your veg times are) or after? I would be concerned with stressing the plant while still in flower and causing hermie problems. I was considering the following schedule: 1) Top Harvest First (2) Wait 5-7 Days (based on readiness) to harvest the rest and prune properly for a re-veg (3) Switch to 18/6 for 1 Week (maybe 1 day after step 2) (4) Prune root ball and place back in pot w/new soil ready to go (w/soil being FF Ocean Forest) (5) Grow for 1 more week then take clones (if ready) • Your thoughts?
Harvest as usual. Chop at least a third off rootball. Transplant into new soil. Give good dose of N. Put off to the side of lights. Lights on 24/7. Water very lightly. Once new growth starts put under lights. Change lighting to your needs. Overwatering is the main factor in failure revegging. I lost 2 plants due to it. You are not going to be getting clones off a reveg for a while. Good luck

i've had both experiences, some revegged great as is, just flip the light schedule and water/wait then fertilize
current reveg needed a root pruning, which took a while to figure out

I think I got lucky with my reveg. Half the plants are big enough to take some clones and flower. The others didn't rebound quite as well. Here"s my best 3 reveg ladies. 6 weeks tomorrow from starting revege. Putting the nutes and teas to them now. Took 18 clones off big one on right a couple days ago. Can hardly even notice.

great man, anxious to see them flower :)
I ended up putting my big girl in a 15gl bucket today. It was close to being rootbound. Needing almost 2 gallons of water everyday. The roots were crazy. So, I cut into the rootball about half an inch then scored the bottom some. I also put it in some 3 months cooking super soil with lots of worm castings and other goodies. I'm going to veg 2 more weeks. She should be a monster by then. Clones are 5 days in and half are starting to stand up. A good sign i'd say. Temps 78 humidity 90%. Time will tell. Gearing up for outdoors. Big bud and God bud seedlings under fluoros doing well.

Maybe we can meet up in a few weeks. I've got some fem white widow coming from BC Seedking in a few days. Have grown WW before but, not from them. Should be an interesting season.

3 days since transplanting my biggest lady into a 15gl pot. She's really taking off. Also, transplanted a couple others into 10gl pots. They are doing well. Gave them all a worm castings, bat guano, seaweed tea today that has been bubbling for a couple days. I won't be able to get my big lady out of the grow room anymore. She is double the width of my door. But, will update pics from within room in a few days. The start from seed plants are doing okay. Transplanted into 5gl buckets about a week ago. They are a third of the size of the reveg. I will post some comparison pics in a few days.

My clones are 10 days in now. Half look like they are doing well. The other, not so sure. Ocean temp 47 right now. Once it hits 50 stripers should be in. We can throw a line in.

I still have some nice buds from my last grow. They have been curing for a couple months now. A few more weeks and the stripers should be up. I am starting to trim the lower canopy on the reveg. It's getting out of control. Going to do a little more lst then put them in flower. I'm thinking these 4 reveg should outproduce my last grow with 8 plants. Potting up seems to be working. I wish I could grow my big girl alone under my 600. She is getting huge! This pic is my second best reveg going. 5 weeks now since first new growth started.

Depends on water temps. If it's still cold it will be a waste of time. Pretty tricky going where I fish. A good drop off into the river, with lot's of current. I guess if the boys are sure footed, it would be alright. If not, I know a few easier spots. Oh yeah, we have to wait for the alewives to come up the river. Usually the last week of May is when it starts getting hot for the stripers. And i've had a few monsters on in there. I fish right below the Topsham dam. Catch some live alewives throw em' out in the current and hang on! When getting a new rod and reel make sure you have at least 20lb test. Or they will spool you quick! Can't wait.
