revegging

I am currently doing a bag grow and was not planning on keeping any of the strains going one of the females is exceptional I have to keep this strain alive if I harvest and reveg how many branches should I leave and can I take all top buds or do I need to leave top buds on branches I dont cut

I tried to reveg with out hardly any bud left and failed horribly. I would leave 30% of the plant to successfully reveg but its really not even worth it then you should just order the seeds. JMHO

But he can't order the seeds. It was bagseed.

Good question. I have a plant that I want to re-veg too. I tried to clone, but I don't think it's working. I'm sure someone will give some good advice quick like.

You will pretty much need to leave 1/3 of the plant. Bud and all. Even leaving that much is a risk. If it's a keeper and you can't get it any other way I would cut a couple inches of bud and basicly leave the rest to keep from shocking the plant into death. But option 1 has worked for me many times.

I really hate revegging. How long have your clones been going bamboo?
Longer than two weeks. I don't think they're doing anything though. But I shouldn't even call them clones because I did everything wrong...I cut them during flower, and have them under 12/12 light, lol! I didn't expect them to make it, but just wanted to see what would happen.

I found this out also....I tried re-vegging on my 2nd grow and the suckers were in a state of stagnation for like weeks; my friend tried also; damn plant was alive but never spouted anything... I'm sure it might work, but we didn't have the patients

its dam near better to take cutting during flower and just live with the weird looking 3 fingered leaf....matter of fact 1 or two of my plants in the current grow were from late flower clones and although they look goofy the yield isn't that much less than the normal clones

In the beginning I did both, re-veg after bud...grew extra slow... the plant really never grew anything back...
I said to myself, "Better planning next time"... and fuck this BS... got about a couple of grams...totally not worth it....

Clone in Bud...[18/6]... Rooted, it was in bud, and had to re-veg back to veg from bud...
Grew out plant, tried to clone 4 branches... got 3 to root... and it took a long while to get them back to veg...
Weird growth... confused... finally grew it out... very small yield...

IT's all about time... do you have it? Are you willing to experience a lot of weird growth for 3-4 grams of goodness?
Once the clone of a budding plant, completely re-vegg's you can then "Clone" it again, when it stops growing weird...
This could be your new strain...
Bagseed excellence...

Sorry to hi-jack thread but...I was thinking of trying to take another shot at cloning my plant, but I'm 4 weeks into flower. I thought it was out of the question by this point. Do you think I would be successful? My stems are all pretty stiff.

sure you can clone it...just put the clones under 24 hrs light after cutting.

prepare for reveg like wild growth when they root though.

I run a lot of plants from seed and reveg the keepers to breed.. works great, leave some of the larf and don't water..with the roots so much bigger than the remaining plant mass, it struggles to transpire. Foliar feeding a nute solution will help dramatically as with the reduced uptake it stops drawing In nutes. Put under light like you would a clone... after reveg they bush out like crazy and make great moms. Once they get going they explode with growth utilizing the root mass as you would see in a grafted plant...
Revegging can be great when running through seed stock to find keepers

Thanks qwizoking revegging is my only good option right now. Hopefully will work this is only my second indoor grow and so far my yeilds have not been good and the first grow was clones from a buddies mother I dont know if im crowding them or if the roots are running out of room to grow before getting transplanted tops grow ok but side buds dont grow worth a crap plants arent even producing 14 grams per plant infact the plant I want to keep was an extra showed late so i have been growing her in back window does anyone have any ideas I am getting a grow tent and im using a 400 hps/mh light I have grown outdoors with good results

yeah, I doubt they'll root under 12/12
I decided to open up a couple of my rockwool cubes, and the stem was brown on one clone with no root development. But the other had a few little nodes sticking out. I guess I'm going to keep these as an experiment, and take some new clones and do it right also.
