those 3 cylinders hanging down are prefilters and sediment filters. Those The blue tube from the cylinder on the right is your input, it connects to your water line, or pump if you have to boost your pressure. The horizontal one up top is a di filter, and that's what the water will come out of, the blue one on the left, that hooks up to your reservoir. I don't see an auto shutoff, but if the reservoir is sealed it won't be needed (it can handle the pressure). The real question is if it has a valve to shut off the main line if the RO end pressurizes... It doesn't look like it, but hard to tell from there... It'll be a little box which seems to have no purpose, before the RO membrane, and has both the in and out going through it.

I was kinda stoned last night posting this, I neglected one important part. The RO membrane will have two outputs, one goes into the DI (this is the filtered water), the other needs to be run to a drain. This is the other place water comes out, and this is the waste water, what was rejected by the membrane. Some people use the waste water for watering outdoor plants, but it'll be much more polluted than the water coming out of your tap (think of it as concentrating the impurities into less water).
