Reverse pollen questions

Have already made a few regular crosses now i want to try for a feminized. I have two parents in mind. One is a special unknown bluebery that i have been growing for 5 years and the other is a newly acquired silver kush. Sour OG pheno.

the blueberry yields more. WHich plant should i reverse to get pollen from? The higher yielding one or the possibly more potent one?

Blueberry has a hermi trait already. so I would Reverse the silvir kush and pollonate the Blueberry. whould be more stable.

Better tasteing cross could be reverse the Blueberry and pollnate the silver kush

Every cannabis plant has the "hermie trait."
Blueberry is very stable and is probably less likely to "hermie" than most varieties.

The plant that provides the pollen will show more traits in the offspring, in my opinion.

It is my understanding that Blueberry came from a SELF pollnated plant (in it's gentics) is why I mentied my OPINION on the subject.

As for The plant that provides the pollon showing more traits in the cross, is 100% correct in my opinion.

Do a test, pollonate both plants with each others pollon, and grow the seeds out, That would be the best way to test which is better.

I have heard that about the Blue being unstable but this is not breeder stock. This blueberry is a bagseed (cant believe I called her that) with a blueberry terpine profile. She is very stable. Mold resistant and the strongest most hard hitting plant I have ever grown. The only thing that has come close to her in potency over the years is Silver kush. This blueberry cut is hoarded between me and a couple of friends. We have been offered $200 for a clone but had to deny because we dont want it in the hands of gangsters.

I wish I could reverse both but I have limited space for breeding. I wont be able to start this project for a while because I am pretty busy right now.

Still undecided.. What crosses have you guys made?

colloidal silver is what I plan on using. It is applied to a female plant and it makes it hermie and turn male. The pollen from those male glands are collected and stored in a vial and also on q tips. That pollen is then applied to the female pistils with a paintbrush. Thats how feminized strains are made. Since both parents were female the genetics of the resultings seeds will be female.

I get it; fem pollen, fem ovary. zygote is homozygous for sex via selfing. It's interesting to see how you got past the dioecy.
I just didn't know what you used to get her to switch.
I will admit I have come to underestimate a lot of people on RIU.
I thought I might see some goofy shit like stressing the shit out of a plant to make it go.
I like your methods better.

Blueberry is one of the most stable varieties and was developed by DJ Short.
Most, if not all stable varieties have been back crossed.

If you self a plant, that does not make for weird, inbred plants or add any weird "hermie traits."

Thanks for your opinion. From personal observation of other breeders and from my own experience I agree with you. Still hard for me to decide because they are both showcase strains. I may reverse the silver so that i have a better chance of the high potency trait with that sour tase! ooohhhhweee
