I may retract my previous statement...uvc seperates o2 (oxygen) into o3 (ozone), maybe the combo of uvc and h2o2 causes the unstable molecule and since h2o (water) has a single oxygen molecule, it doesn't split or become unstable in which the oxidation process occurs. I don't know...I'm far from a chemist but love learning about it.
