RI patients need you!

With volume comes more expenses. Like Rick said its 2lbs per month if you are renting a space after taxes. So if you are running 8 lights at 1lb per light on a 3 month cycle that leaves you with a 2 lb profit every 3 months. The math doesn't work. It will sort itself out as the market dictates prices. I am going to call them today to see if they are interested in my tinctures and edibles. I also have some bud that I put through a spin pro if they will take that then fine but I'm not hand trimming bud for 125 per oz.

There not allowed to sell edibles at this time !!! Also SSDI patients get 10% off prices !!! And no clones are To be sold at this time due to a numbers issue !

They are planning on charging $25 to 45 per an eighth . So they will be making $200 to $360 a zip. How are they paying a flat rate for excess meds, then they sell at different price points?

Then after you pay taxes on your 2 k , your left with 1300! Heh , and you will be paying federal taxes , while your breaking federal law. Genius!

ps , for all you making packaging materials for your edibles, I wouldn't waste your time. You need to produce your edibles In a licensed kitchen , follow all health code rules , etc. So this means , not your home kitchen . You will need food safety manager cert , liability insurance , and have the doh come and inspect your professional work space prior to production .

Like I said earlier, I don't see any way to come out with more than $100/z after you've paid taxes -- and that doesn't include expenses. I don't know how it is all going to shake out -- I'm expecting either quality to suffer (40% rejection rate or not) or Slater to simply run out regularly until they get their own op harvesting.

If Slater is charging more than $250/z (a 100% markup), I expect their regular customers to be people who simply can't find (or are uncomfortable meeting) individual caregivers. Personally, I'm just there to check out their hash (if any).

Just curious tho,...was the center supposed to personally fund your school too? Where'd that come from? Sure, they'll be dumping some good coin into special programs in specific school districts but are they OBLIGATED to? No. So just say "Thanks" for helping lower your taxes and try not to let yourself get too worked up about it.

As for their pricing,....If you don't like the prices on either end, do like myself and others have and CHOOSE not to sell/buy there while those prices are in effect. I sold them a batch to help get them off the ground but won't be growing extra till the market levels out, it's basic business dude. I don't see you in front of Starbucks bitchin that a Latte' is $5,....you either choose to use their service or not.

Again,...I'm not spouting for Slater, don't work for them or anything, just very active in the community and I've been there and seen how psyched the patients are. No one will ever force anyone to participate so arguing or slandering is pointless here.

Between 1099 and the center rewording "excess" to poundage TCS can go fuck themselves! I dont understand the whole 1099 deal, 1099's are for services rendered... but the center is not paying for my service they are paying for a product... Are they going to 1099 they place they get the jars from? they buy jars and resell them just like meds so why is it different? Also TCS said they will not buy less then a 1/2lb at a time. They have some nerve asking people to openly break the law! I know they have a huge learning curve but i figured they were smarter then this, for now I will be keeping my distance! Lets hope greenleaf gets off to a better start!

Regardless, $2000/lb is an insult. Sure, there may be 4 or 5 guys out there who are fine with it but 4 or 5 guys can't keep the shelves stocked. They have no meds now. Menu is lame and barren. Get rich on that. Greed will get you nowhere, especially in a biz where there is enough in the pot for everyone. I am going to venture and say that there is a big pre plan going on here. It's the only answer to the question of "why wouldn't a company in need of a local product, not be willing to meet the local fair market price for said product when that cost will leave ample opportunity to meet or exceed the goal?" Economics anyone??

The time it would take to draft and pass that legislation,.......and then the time for the DOH to

a. Establish protocol as to who can apply
b. Establish requirement for applying
c. process and awarding those contracts
d. GET THE FACILITIES LICENSED
e. get those grows up and producing

i dont agree with slater and some of there pricing but they do have a business to run,employees to pay & lots of bills we dont even know about so 2k a elbow does not surprise me and kind of around where i thought it would be.
