Not sure Rrog. I've been using other items like lava rock that holds up longer in conjunction with the hulls. I read somewhere that rice hulls contain a fair amount of silica so I figure it's not totally a bad thing if they start degrading.Geez- how'd I miss this thread??
I was gonna suggest asking St0w!! Lol
St0w- how long do you see the hulls retain their shape? I'm wondering how long they can continue to act as an aeration component
No doubt. I'm looking to see how long I can no-till or very minimally till a 25 gallon Geopot of soil. The aeration has to hold up for as long as I can get it.Not sure Rrog.
