Ride safe...

If there's any fellow riders on here, just wanted to say be safe out there and watch out for shit in the roads. I hit a patch of dirt going around a corner, next thing I know I see the front headlights of my bike sliding away from me. Luckily there wasn't any major damage so I was able to make it back. I literally just got done putting a new set of fairings and a new gas tank on it too, shaking my head all the way home  Just couldn't wait for the spring time road cleaning :|

Took this picture like 10 minutes before I went down

Nice bike bud, Yamaha R6?
Stay safe, it's not just your own driving you gotta watch, it's everyone else too.

yeah for sure I always look out for other people, I usually only speed when I know there's no one around. I'm just glad I saw the patch of dirt in time to slow down, wasn't enough tho lol.

Probably misread that, have such a headache lol. Yeah there's so many fucking stupid ass drivers around here it's insane. Can't count how many times I've almost been hit by some idiot switching lanes without looking over their shoulder

How were you when you come off?
How was the bike?
I'd a Kawasaki about twenty five odd years ago now, you couldn't pay me to take one out now though lol

My sons been looking at bikes in the New York City area, I might buy him a 4x4 after seeing your post lol

I was totally fine, just some road rash on my knee tore through my jacket to give me some on my arm . Pretty upset about the bike tho, new fairings on it for less then a week and this shit happens. I had frame sliders and swingarm spools that absorbed most of the damage, but the engine cover is scraped to shit and left side fairings scratched up. Would have been a hell of a lot worse of I didn't have frame sliders, those things are shredded. I'm not gonna let it keep me from riding tho, I love it :)

I love Snowcat on YT. This guy is my favorite hater. He yells at everyone to teach safety and rules of the road. Here's a great one where he yells at cops, and they APOLOGIZE! Love it...

Gotta be careful on a bike, I remember this one time I was commin through a intersection and a person made a right and turned into the street I was on and come into the middle lane where I was doin like 75 (funny how you don't even realize how fast your going sometimes) almost slammed right into the back of her but luckily I was able to swerve around...sweet ride you got tho I bet those faring weren't cheap

Nice, was that a 250? I've been thinking about getting a supermoto for occasional offroading, I grew up with dirtbikes so I know that I'll love it. The only thing I hate about 600s is how loud they scream cruising at 75mph. I also kinda don't like how you only really start to hit the power band at 9-11k rpm, makes you work more. opposed to a litre bike where the power is just always there

Rode sport bikes for years, haven't had anything since my accident but I'm looking to get something a little more comfortable now.

my cousin got a soft tail night train a while back... you can probably score one for pretty cheap now.. at least cheap for a harley.. i had a sportster and he had the night train, hed just kill me in speed on it. for a cruiser the thing had balls.. and it was sweet.. all blacked out, looked kinda like this

i miss my old harley too...

it was only a 1200 sportster but i really liked the setup

I was eyeing those up too, and yeah, found them surprisingly priced. Real nice ones for $6-9K.
