Ran a pack of the bubbleberry v2s there are some pics earlier in this thread. There is definitely the bubblegum terps in there which is more than can be said for lots of other 'bubblegums' I have ran. Not heavy yielding plants but I did make some F2s so will get around to hunting them for that pheno then outcross it to something to try bump the yields.
Damn, I know he can get mouthy sorry you had such a bad experience. We all have our quirks like I've supported seeds here now with a lot of my cash but have recently said fuck THEM! They charge too much for repeat buyer's and now the company's have went to their website and sell direct cheaper. Plus seeds here now fucking plays this money game so they hold back on shit like new season releases but then dump shit a lil here a little there rather dumping the mother fuckers.
no big deal I figure with how much hate that the dude gets getting blocked is probably far from the worst that could happen. I also realize you guys are talking potcast, check out breeders syndicate his buddy notso seems like an easier fellow to get along with he even let me follow him lol jkjk. matt seems to behave himself I'm assuming for the patrons as they get it earlier and yknow best foot forward when money is involved. he has had nspectta, fletch, and jj from top on the show. its pretty good while they were part of speakeasy and i was a patron being there live was interesting as there were many breeders in chat all the time including the mentioned guests when they weren't on and ms jill and a few others. I don't run his beans but I do listen or watch the podcasts.
I'm currently growing out his 4-Play (Fairfax 4way x Blue Bonnet). I grew up smoking 4 way in Northern Va and also grew it out for a year or 2 from a single found bag seed 20 years ago. I emailed Matt a bunch of questions and he was incredibly nice and answered every question I had. I also enjoy their Breeder Syndicate podcast. I won't know for another month or so if the cross is close to that old smoke. I'm just happy somebody is still selling it. Wish Bob would do another cross with it.. Been hunting for Fourora Borealis from Coastal but can't seem to find it anywhere.
Dude, filling in nicely brother. Gonna be two massive colas for sure. I've been doing something similar trying to reproduce stuff that I remember but never had accsess until learning to grow. Would love to see
The blue bonnet cross do you know anything about it ? I'm courios because my strain from "back in tha" is bubblegum and I jumoed all over when I saw it. I have several bubblegum plants just selecting for my best version but the cross Matt made with blue bonnet is what I will be doing next so I'm watching your grow. If possible keep updates available. Your grow should be somewhat similar structure wise.
He said it was LoneStar Seed company Blue Bonnet (blueberry) pheno he found. Dude loves his blueberries. Supposed to be one of the better expressions of blueberry from what I've read.
I"m an old grower but new to the seed/breeder stuff. Don't know much about anything that happened from 2005 till present. Most of the stuff I grew was old spice of life, nirvana, Sensi gear. I'm just happy people kept this stuff going.
Oh ok, thanks. There are supposed to be phenos with blueberry big league chew notes all over and I can't pass on that. I wish I could find the old juicy fruit stuff. I've grown for several year's but it was hard in Tx to source stuff unless you wanted to travel but now I have a nice sized library that ranges all over the place breeders, strains . I spent almost 30 years in the underground and could find anything imaginable but growers in Tx I knew 1 until he flipped his truck on phyc meds like Xanax then found the Lord and other guy came home to produce and when sold up he's was off mainly in the PNW fishing and picking up work when needed as electrician . we never new strains but his was always great.
Top Dawg, that would be J.J. correct from New York and part time Denver now ?? If so that's a grumpy little guy and he's not a spring chicken anymore either. He was the one who had come to an event in Colorado looking for another breeder (one of the other breeders with dawg or dog, dogg ) in their name and was walking up to people didn't know asking (are you blank". Well he found him and soon as yes was answered SMACK J.J. swung on him but with JJ's cat like reflexes, 90 yr old cat, it wasn't much maybe skirmish. His feelings hurt easily I guess.
I always thought I was the only one who thought Riot was a scumbag.. shocked over the amount of people online that have had similar experience. And then again ..not so shocked. I think people that screw you will screw the next guy also...
