RIP Meatloaf

This is probably a dumb question for seasoned veterans/conisseurs of scotch , but I'm gonna ask. Has anyone " titrated " a glass of scotch with water. You add one drop of water at a time (an eye dropper works well) until you see the magic happen......the still liquid comes to life....churning , evolving ad changing. Quite the chemistry involved. I saw this for the first time at a distillery in Scotland a couple of years ago. Very impressive. The barrel makers make more money than any other profession.

You can do that with high proof bourbon, too.
