ok so, the clone in the cup has vegged for one week. the clone in the cube has been in the cube for 5 days and will have tons of roots poking out in 2-3 days. the other shot is of the whole tray. 2 different strains. some clones bigger and some smaller. i used to throw small ones like that away.
I thought they had to be bigger. nope. though i do like them bigger, if i can take 50 small ones oposed to 10 big ones, it works out much better with only a week of veg before flowering.
i end up with 20-40 grams per plant depending on strain with and average of 25.

hey guys, if ya dont have dome,that "no wilt" spray(translucent) works great for clone'n! it keeps clones from dehydrate'n, and I use outdoors with clones! If way out in the boonies and have no root dip(hormones) willow tree branches soaked in water helps clones root,

I also use it. Vita-wilt anti wilt. Looks like milk. I still use the dome for the first 2-3 days. Mist twice a day. I mist the dome not the clones and I get no discoloration. Keep the humidity up. in the winter months when its real dry i leave the dome on with the vents open so the cubes dont dry out.

Your doing fine. Keep the humidity high and don't worry about your plants. Larger cuttings have one advantage, more water in the plant already. Putting your cuttings in water after you cut them doesn't do anything unless you cut them under water, why because without roots they can't get water. Cutting your clones again before dipping in your root growth hormones helps expose phloem cells that turn into roots.

Turns out I have 4 females, 2 males, all confirmed.

And here is the one that got me. Originally I was pretty sure this plant was male, but something made me unsure.
This is what I was looking at a few days ago that made me belive it was male
But a little further up the plant we find these
Which confirms it female.

Its been 7 days for the clones and 3 of them are starting to stretch for light. So Ive removed the plastic and placed them in my cold frame that I use in the spring. Here they will be protected from the wind and rain for the next few days.
Most likely, I will replace the males in my garden with them.

Had a sting of bad luck recently. The weather here has been cold, cloudy and wet for about 7 days now. Growth has been slow because of it.
Had a huge bug problem today. Checked them the day before and they were fine, come back today to find severe damage by an unknown attacker. Went out and got some neem oil and gave them a good blast.
Coons also got into my plants and broke one of my lower branches on the biggest female. Since we have had so much rain here recently my critter ridder wore off. They were no doubt searching for that fishy smell from my fertilizers. I would use something else but its the best fertizer i can get without driving an hour to get some fox farm.
I should have put more critter ridder down after I watered them last, but got lazy.
Here you can see the damage. Its really not that bad because I want to train this branch south anyway. Ive used a green stick to hold it up so it can regenerate and push it in the direction I want. Looks a little cockeyed now but when the sun comes out again it will straighten up.
The coons also ravaged my clones as well. As you can see three of them were doing great with plenty of new growth coming.
They totally scattered all the cups soil and all the clones were missing their new roots. I found one root mass in the mess. I had no choice but to re cut, dip and start over again. Im not going to go through the whole plastic wrap thing again, I moved them into the shade and if they die, they die. Dont really care.

I dunno about you but I get mine at the hardware store, nursery or big box store. Works great until it rains. When you put it down you can smell it, smells like pepper and chili.
i still stand by it even though the rain totally washes it away.

Good lookin plants Rip!! It looks like things are workin out. And I don't think i've ever seen an outdoor grow where bugs or animals didn't cause some damage. Everything loves weed!!!! I just checked on some of mine today, and they are showin the exact same insect damage. I think it is grasshoppers or something like that, some flying, weed loving fuckers. Most of my damage was up high, and there weren't any bugs on em when i looked, so that makes me think flying insect. Also if you have any grocery stores near you that sells bulk spices, you can make up your own deterrant powder for alot cheaper. Get a bunch of chili, cayenne, black pepper, whatever is hot an spicy, mix it up and there you go! Just some thoughts anyway. Keep it up!!

Getting bigger every day, still feeding 5-1-1 fish emulsion every few days and flushing with plain water every other time.
