Agreed,vinyl is a more dynamic medium than most CD & digital recordings due to compression ratios,digital has the ability to surpass the dynamics of vinyl over the full audible spectrum but due to bad engineers compressing too much dynamics get lost,I still buy new vinyl for that reason .
Here's a pic of my vinyl system,I've swapped TT's for a McIntosh MT-10 turntable since this pic was taken,the line arrays are Tri Amped with all solid state amps & a tube output stage preamp.
This pic is of the tube preamp in the vinyl system above.
Here's our main digital system & the system I'm listening to now,the line arrays here are biamped with a pair of 1,000 watts @8 ohm monoblocks on the eight 12" woofers,then a single 2 channel 600 wpc @8 ohm stereo amp powering the 24 5" mids & 48 1" silk dome tweeters,this system will crack a window it thumps so hard
here's one of the dual line arrays from the digital system above.
and lastly here's a shot of our 4,800 watt @8 ohm home theater that uses no subwoofers & still hits well below 20hz.
the monoblocks above will push 1,200 watts continuous @8 ohms with dynamic peaks of over 4,800 watts @8 ohms,its a goofy angle so your seeing the side of where the screen projects.

you've got hella good taste in instruments,I've got a pretty beat up SG from 1974 I just had refretted last year,I'm thinking of putting a maple neck on it but still not sure .
You running solid state head amps or tube heads in your guitar rig ? if you've never tried tube heads im pretty sure I've got an extra Marshall 9100 or a 9200 pictured below laying around the studio you could borrow for a while to try out a tube head amp,the 9200's are dual power supply monoblocks built into a single 2 rack space chasis ,it'll push dual stacks at 100watts @8 ohms & 200 watts @4 ohms,i just bought new groove tubes for the 3 9200's my son & i have that replaced the Behringer A-500's we were using for years .

In my "guitar room" lol I got a few more guitar.. another strat. A 74' Gibson ES 335 and an old Gibson blueshawk .. I got an Orange Rockerverb mkiii head and matching cab and a 1969 Marshall b cab I play through also.. i would though buy your Marshall head if it's for sale man
