I won't comment on the freedom-of-speech angle, because imo the essence of it is "I despise what you say but will defend your right to say it". So while i cannot argue that saying the N-word (with either ending) is a contravention, i deeply dislike it and think it universally rude. Actually, Free Speech is just that. We may indeed say what we want, at least in the US. This site is only governed by the TOS and the laws of the country of origin to a lesser extent. So unless you are peddling kiddy porn no enforcement agency is going to give a rats ass.

While I personally don't agree with some terms people may use, I don't tell others what they can and cannot say. Let it go and focus your energy somewhere else.
