RIU Summer Fishing Trips

Always have one rolled on my nightstand every morning!

Just rolled in the door from an Italian dinner. Now I need to "talk to the hawk" then a soak in the hot tub.
I need to ask my son if he wants to go. He pretty much does his own thing these days, but I'll ask.
So this is the list as of now.....
1) Treeman
2) Unspecified
3) Grandpapy
4) Doublejj
5) Partly Cloudy
6) Nuggs
7) Nuggs helper
Nuggs uncle
The maybe list.....
1) Garden Boss
2) Nuggs sister
3) Treeman's son
4) TWS (where is that guy, thought he was in, who has a PH# for him)
5) TWS's son
6) Unspecified's buddy
7) all the other people who would like to go.
Maybe we need to start a "RIU first annual fishing trip" thread? We can give details there about the trip? I say the first 20 are in, if that number lingers over, we'll deal with that then.

Alright fellow RIUers summer has just started and we have 1 trip under our belts. I think it's time to think about trip #2. I'm busy the weekend of July 25th (wedding), but WIDE open before or after that date.
Any ideas?
Maybe something in the eastern Sierras where the weather is nice?
The coast works to, but $200 for a boat ride, $100+ for a hotel, eating out all meals gets expensive. Maybe a camp outing somewhere on state, or private land. The only down fall is the fire regulations California has in place, no camp fires in a lot of campgrounds.
I'd like to fish the upper Sacramento river to for Salmon too.
Any and all ideas are welcome, I just want to go fishing.
