RIU's Amish type village.

Hey guys I've been thinking of starting an Amish type village, but I have no idea where to start. I'm tired of all the pollution, society judging people so damn hard, and working our whole childhood and adulthood to make a living .
It's all bullshit and I just want no part of it.
Would you be my Amish type roomate if given the choice?
Some perks:
- you can bring anyone you want.
- it won't be a dictatorship.
- there will be fields of marijuana and other crops..
- you can have whatever belief about god or no god you want.
Some set backs that I would have to look further into.
- medicine (pretty important)
- no technology.
- there's gonna be alot of hard work.
- no medical help.


This thread is made out of boredom, imagination, and hope this could actually happen, so sorry if I wasted your time.

I share your thoughts my friend. Society is ill and it seems as though shit is going to hit the fan sooner rather than later. Something that is quite funny.... ten minutes before reading this, I was laying in bed and all of a sudden that weird al song "amish paradise" popped in my head out of nowhere. I couldn't sleep so I come on here and see the amish community thread. Coincidence? perhaps..... Love the signature btw.

As I walk through the valley where I harvest my grain I look at my wife and realize she's very plain, ha or something like that haven't heard it forever.

Everyone will be required to grow herbs. Precious and glorious herbs. Everyone will be required to maintain an organic garden and compost pile. There will be drugs and orgies. Lots of orgies. With contraception readily available. Then there will be shrooms and cactus ceremonies. Then there will be feasts and story times. And you better believe there will be s'mores.

Yes yes, but we will build houses for fun and we shall call them fun houses. This is where you can trip on shrooms, mescaline, and smoke pot. And towards the back will be the orgy rooms.

It would just be too weird to have an orgy on shrooms.

I wish i had my own amish villige. However mine would be a dictator ship, the main laws would be

1) you must stand when i enter the room.

2) 50% on every thing you own.

3) you must work my pot farm for you'r daily rice rations.
