RO Water/ PH before or after nutes added?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if RO water is the best to use, and whether PH up and down should be used after adding nutes to the RO water?

Add the nutes first then ph up or down.......i mix r/o and tap water 70%/30% as my tap water is very hard (700ppm)it gives me the cal/mag i need.I also do not need to ph as it is around 5.8 after adding H&G nutes.

Shoudn't it be around 6.5? I''ll research it now but thought I read it should be between 6 and 7, if so why not use some PH up? Also if I will be using a cal/mag supplement do you think using all RO will be good?

i am in coco....not a peat based mix.yes you can use cal/mag with pure r/o, you will need to use ph up after mixing your nutes.

my AN nutes seem to always drift up to the 6.8-7 mark, amazing for soil, but damn I gotta balance my buckets daily... (Its supposed to be ph perfect, n chelated to absorb at whatever ph, but.... yea who believes that)

I do nutes, mix, let it sit a few mins (about a bowl) and then ph it
